I've created this mix to pay homage to the man , the myth, the Legend, the Trance master! Jesper Söderlund a.k.a. - Airbase, Loken , Ozone , Rah , The Scarab and many other aliases. 

I first heard his first tracks under the Airbase alias back in 2002 and was blown away with how good his tracks were. The first ones I heard were Genie, Emotion , Runaway and his remix of Above & Beyonds Far From in love and some of his Rah stuff.

For me he is up there with the best of the best when it comes to trance production through the years with his own distinctive sound and Uplifting style. 
Jezper has also been a real king of remixing other peoples tracks and never fails to disappoint when putting his own spin on other artists tracks.

I hope you all enjoy the mix and hope it helps you reminisce the good old days of classic trance music.

Airbase (Jezper Soderlund) is a legendary trance genius who has trail-blazed the 2000s with the most unique trance tunes I have ever heard. In 2015, I was behind the DJ booth for the last time. After years of DJing, it was time for new challenges. 

In November '24, during a house party, I took on the challenge again and played a few hours of trance and techtrance. After receiving many positive reactions, it became clear to me that it was time to pick up again something I had enjoyed so much years ago. 

I bought a Pioneer RX3 and everything that came with it, and I’ve re-embraced my former hobby. During a New Year’s party with many good friends in Zoetermeer, I played a trance set called NEW YEAR'S PARTY (my first upload here). Everyone was very excited!

The best way to start a New Year;  Picking up again what I did with so much pleasure years ago!  I want to thank everybody who inspired me by starting DJing again!
