The original version of the classic Free number All Right Now is the reason I'm a musician. I heard this song and it blew me away. Not only was the song the most amazing thing I had ever heard but also Rogers, Fraser, Kossoff and Kirke looked the coolest guys on the planet (in my opinion). The 70's were great years for music (again in my opinion) and I don't think that anyone could replicate the vibe and performance of the original recording of All Right Now by simply copying it . So we've reinterpreted the song and we hope you like it.  Pete

Der Bandname setzt sich zusammen aus den Anfangsbuchstaben der 3 Gründungsmitglieder Fred, Achim, und Reiner, wobei die beiden Erstgenannten noch heute mit dabei sind. In der aktuellen Besetzung spielen wir seit 2022 zusammen. Wir covern bekannte (?)  Rocktitel der 70er, 80er, 90er und 2000er Jahre. Gelegentlich kommt beim Proben auch etwas Blues mit ins Spiel - auch reggaeähnliche Klänge hat man angeblich schon vernommen ;-)

PRB (formerly The Pete Rea Band) began life rooted in the grit and swagger of blues-based rock — big riffs, raw energy, and a classic sound. But as the band grew, so did the music. What started as straight-up rock has morphed into something far broader: a restless, alt-rock outfit unafraid to push boundaries and follow songs wherever they want to lead. The new album due out Spring 2026 will demonstrate what that means. 

For PRB, genre is not a limitation. One track might lean into jagged, driving guitars; the next might open up with atmospheric textures, unexpected instrumentation, or a left-field rhythm. The constant is honesty: songs crafted with instinct, not formulas.

This evolution reflects the band’s core belief — that rock music doesn’t need to stay in its lane. PRB embrace experimentation, blending styles and sounds without losing the pulse of what makes a great rock song. PRB has stepped into a space where alternative, indie, and classic influences collide.
