Just Dream

“misdirection” is a song about a personal journey of loss, self-discovery, and longing for connection. With an experimental alternative pop/rock production tied with well-crafted lyricism “misdirection” is its own world.

When Charlotte sent me her rough idea for a song , it's working title was ' Sad Song ' , and it was going to be a ballad , as time went on it developed into a sort of dance track , we're so pleased with how this has turned out , hope you like it ! We've nearly finished a great Rock ballad , so excited about it . In the meantime I've nearly finished a super song with Lyricist Andrea Brennan from New York , we have our 1st song out on the 1st of May . Just before that on the 22nd of this month is a smashing Country Rock song I did with Alabama Lyricist Tony Harris , thank you for staying tuned !

Satellite is the debut Single of Every Reason. Composed by Kym Sargent, and collaborated with Brad Preece up to the final production.
Satellite depicts trying to get the girl of your dreams, when at the same time, not being sure if she's interested. The Satellite aspect is the communication that happens in the situation.

Mit Gitarre, Cello, Synthi und einem Hauch Trompete vermischen drei Familienväter diese zu einem akustischen, poppigen Sound.
Die der eigenen Feder entstammenden Lieder könnt ihr bald auf dem neuen freiluftsofa- Album in euren Ohren klingen lassen.

Every Reason are an alternative indie pop/rock duo from Adelaide, South Australia. Friends Bradley Preece and Kym Sargent decided in 2019, to team up and merge all their original material together.
In 2023, that produced their debut album, Collaborative Sound. Bradley describes Collaborative Sound as an album catering for everybody. He felt that when starting from scratch, it's fitting to give the audience a bit of everything as sometimes, it's challenging to know which debut track will give that best impression.
Kym and Bradley agreed that Satellite gives good overall insight into Every Reason, but other singles from Collaborative Sound would follow.
After Collaborative Sound, Kym wrote the stand-alone Hip-hop/RnB single "Reconnect to You" in 2024. In a catalogue of rock songs, kym enjoys writing the occasional Hip-hop song as it's a genre he admires.
In 2025, Every Reason will be returning with a 5 track EP called 'Foot In the Door.' It will become a foregleam of their upcoming second album, as 4 of the 5 songs from the EP will also feature on the upcoming abum.
