An atmospheric ride through minimalistic jazz piano, ethereal vocal harmonies, and pulsing, dirty drum samples. At 80 bpm, 'Something' layers funky bass lines, razor-sharp strings, and steady rain for a moody soundscape. Playful yet sophisticated, Something explores cycles of movement and stagnation. This track is a very pretty and flexible track,it can take up to 5 times faster...in bpm ............. It will sound very fast but not like chipmunk voices or out of pitch sounds.... I slowed down the music to match the vibe of ambient,Normally some sounds can not take severe bpm changes .Luckily I have a pitch lock control that can handle such extremes.,My title came from daydreaming on this song..I heard snow falling and said perfect this is quiet ambient with soft drums strikes.

this entire song was created with the sound of a water drop, for the monogenic project. 


the monogenic project is a year long project where i will create music with the sound of a water drop, via granular synthesis using only native audio and midi effects in Ableton Live. each instrument will begin with the water drop, or variations of the water drop created via granular synthesis. 

the idea is to work from a place of ultimate limitation, using only 100ms of sound, to create an infinite number of instruments.

the mood of dinophyte drift is careful and curious, which lead me to discover dinophytes (dinoflagellate) which are single-celled plankton found in oceans and freshwater. their populations vary with sea surface temperatures, salinity, and depth. dinophyte both photosynthesize and eat prey. some dinophytes also glow in the dark.

Hi, my name is Tim, creator of Epigenetics.

I make electronic ambient music. More specifically, I would label it "Space music". I use a MIDI keyboard and VST's to record the tracks one by one. Before I made my first electronic track, I have been making 'analog' music with my piano and guitar, since I was young. I think you might hear the influence of that in my music.
