Peacock and Peonies, Wandering Years (流浪岁月)

Atmospheric sound inspired by the cold and dark vastness of space. This piece is a collaboration between two artists, created under specific constraints: only using the default instruments of Ableton Live 12 Suite, each artist worked on the mix for 1 hour and 30 minutes before passing it to the next. This process was repeated 10 times, followed by 4 collaborative mixing stages and 3 mastering steps together.

We call the process: Pass The Mix.

A classically trained composer and performer, his major influences include classical composers such as Mozart and Beethoven as well as classic rock groups such as The Beatles, The B52s, Yes and Frank Zappa, to name a few.

In Dreampunk, or whatever I play, I’ve found the slow and thoughtful path I’ve been searching for. I also believe that if I can change myself, I might inspire others who want to change too.
