Ambient to Noize, and everything in between. All of these songs contain at least some element of chaos, allowing the universe to work through me.

The idea behind Designer Thumbs' music is to create stories for every track to leave a memorable impression on the listener like a good book or film. The style sits somewhere between film  soundtrack and down beat electronica.
The sounds typically used are a mix of synthetic and real instruments, filtered synth pads, busy, glitchy rhythm programming, big hip hop breaks, vocal acapellas, old film samples, sound fx , bass guitar –anything that creates the right feel.
Influences have come from Warp Records’ ambient artists such as Aphex Twin, Boards Of Canada, Jon Hopkins, Radioactive Man and 80's electronic film sound tracks such as The Thing, The Fog, Clockwork Orange, Bladerunner, Tron etc.
