Holly King got a chance to chat with American Idol alum, David Archuleta! David was the runner-up in Season 7 (2008) of AI, when he was just 17 years old. He made headlines in 2021, when he made the brave decision to leave the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and came out as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. He has a new song out called “Hell Together”, which was inspired by his mother’s unwavering support of him in his journey. Listen to him tell his story in his own words.
