Introducing Cesare vs Disorder’s highly anticipated debut album, “Antidote”, released via his label Serialism Records. After more than 20 years of relentless studio efforts and shows around the world, Cesare Marchese, the Italian-Polish mastermind behind the project, finally brings a unique blend of musical influences to the dance music scene with his first-ever album.

Born with a passion for classical music and honed through years of training, Cesare’s electronic music journey began in the late 90s when he started DJing, getting exposed to various genres of music, from Hip Hop to Indie Rock, Reggae to Drum’n’Bass. However, his love for Modern Jazz, Brazilian Bossanova, Dub, and Electronica left a significant bearing on his later musical taste. And that’s exactly this rich tapestry of mixed influences that gave life to “Antidote,” which showcases Cesare’s innovative approach to club music, promising to be a musical journey where the sounds of yesterday meet the future of electronic music.

The vinyl-only version unfolds between eight tracks, featuring collaborations with Romanian maestro Cristi cons, Amsterdam’s eclectic San Proper, Rockey Washington – a legendary Los Angeles based MC, and Serialism A&R and longtime Cesare’s friend, Weg. Playful evolving throughout its duration, “Antidote” reflects Cesare’s diverse musical background, drawing inspiration from his early fascination with jungle and breakbeats to his deep appreciation for Trip Hop, Acid Jazz and Eletronica. The result is a captivating blend of old-school emotions and contemporary textures that will leave listeners feeling inspired and transported to another time. With its mixture of nostalgia and modernity, “Antidote” promises to be an unforgettable musical experience.

Having spent quite some time in front of the DJ-booth, Jean Emar got intrigued by what was going on behind it. What initially started as a cute little hobby with Traktor on inebriated Friday nights, gradually turned into a passion. As a logical next step, Traktor got replaced by 2 vinyl players. From then on, he incessantly has been practicing to master the art of mixing, being mainly influenced by (ro)minimal house, breakbeat, UKG, ...

DJ/Producer from Tokyo, based in Sapporo.
He started his career in 2001. In 2012, VOLI became the first Asian DJ to receive an offer from German legend Sven Väth's Cocoon Recordings label to release “Still Laughing,” which earned him international acclaim. VOLI's music has been internationally acclaimed since 2012, when he became the first Asian artist to receive an offer from German legend Sven Väth's Cocoon Recordings to release "Still Laughing. The song is profound yet subtle. His mix series “Booth Memory” has been gaining popularity for its unique aesthetic that combines the heat of the floor and the quietness of introspection.
His mixes have also been aired on the European radio station Evosonic Radio, and while rooted locally, he has a global ripple effect.

VOLI's music is not only about “functionality” in dance music, but also about the silence that lurks behind the groove and the lingering echoes that evoke emotions, allowing the listener to imagine a “landscape” of sound. It expresses a sophisticated sound that intersects the functional beauty and artistry of club music.
