This is the second track/song to my upcoming EP and also apart of my high school project that I'm working on. This is supposed to resemble the type of angry feeling that you'd get at some point. I decided to mix this with a bit of "phonk" to it :P

Agony and Despair

У кожному з нас живе демон, якого стримують кайдани моралі.
Ця пісня має довгу історію. Першу версію я написав ще у 2013 році: акустична, сира, з простим текстом і називалась вона просто "Лють". Записав на диктофон і виклав у соцмережі. Мелодія мала потенціал, але текст був такий собі. Минуло багато років і я вирішив повністю переписати пісню. Залишились лише ідея та кілька образів, які я переробив. Цього разу я написав спочатку слова як вірш, без музики. Це нетипово для мене: зазвичай пишу паралельно або спочатку музику. В такому підході є як плюси так і мінуси. Для мене простіше, мабуть, спершу музику написати, а потім слова підганяти. Тоді виходить більш природньо У 2024 році з’явилась друга версія пісні з новим текстом, але іншою музикою. Звучало ніби й нормально, але не те. Надто попсово і беззубо. У 2025-му я вирішив переписати музику повністю й змінити стиль. Сів за фортепіано, заграв низькі акорди і з них народилась нова мелодія. Вона звучала дивно навіть трохи соромно було показати її дружині 😅 Але саме ця дивина й зачепила. До речі, там є нотка східного мотиву (цікаво, чи хтось це відчув чи це тільки мені навіює ?). Надихнула на це ще колись Epica (у них є кілька пісень зі східним відтінком). Давно хотів щось таке написати.

This is my Oscillate Neuro Madness contest Entry. I started off playing with four decent CDJ decks with the guys of Oscillate and had loads of fun doing B2B's with Sol and Jason. The music used into this mixtape is orientated around the dark and distorted sound design of the neurofunk subgenre of DnB. It would not be a mix of mine if I did not add some eTMt flavor to it with some melodic sounds and vocals to keep it variated.
