L'oeuvre d'Antony (ou Anohni) and the Johnsons et plus particulièrement la divine chanson "Twilight".  Un artiste intrigant et complexe, autant au niveau artistique que personnel qui nous propose une provocation: permettre à la beauté de nous transporter en restant conscient des choses laides et générées par l’être humain.

In this world we need love and not more cops. only love can heal the traumas and the pain. and there were no safe harbors for the people and children needing to cross the sea. no word or song can ever do justice to these souls or express the pain this causes in our history.

I am Carla Johnson, a singer- and songwriter born and based in Basel (CH). Growing up in a musical family I early absorbed different styles of music and startet to write my own songs as a teenager.

2006-2010 I studied voice in Bern (HKB) and Berlin (UdK, Erasmus exchange program).

I was part of the band James Légères from 2005-2010. 

2016 I founded Go Ekspresyon! an open space for refuged teenagers in Basel to experience themselves in different art disciplines (see Film: Lass los! by Go Ekspresyon!)
