As a jazz pianist I never tried to sound like any other pianist. I just follow my emotions in improvisation. If you say jazz is a free kind of genre that does not really accept rules, then i am a jazz pianist. If you say jazz has to sound like .... I am not a jazz pianist. Since decades i felt fascinated to develop my very own playing techniques allowing high speed pianistry plus deep emotional touch.
