Here is a mix I made recently of newer IDM and Braindance records with a few Detroit sounding smooth purist techno tracks. I might have played one or two tracks that aren't as good as I remembered. Usually I have the records in sleeves with masking tape with notes on which track or tracks to play, BPM, and a short description of the style if it is different than the other tracks.  On this mix I was just winging it with tracks that I have not BPM or gotten super familiar with, hence a couple tracks are pitched up to nearly plus 8 or way down to -7.  Eventually the video of the vinyl mix being made will go up on my YouTube channel, even though I am slowly getting tired of YouTube's algorithm phuqery.

No clippy-cloppy 'mnml' bobbins or business techno though.

Spent years being the obligatory 'Bedroom DJ' along with regular visits to the techno mecca 'The Orbit' and other nights, mainly Leeds based, such as 'Superconductor', 'Darkside' & 'Detatched', culminated with a DJ spot at Detatched in 2009 playing a mainly electro/italo-house set in the bar.
What followed then was a monthly resident spot playing techno when supporting artists in the main room or the chance to play electro, house and electro-pop in the bar at Detatched followed by Future-Past and the short-lived Secret Maze, supporting some of the cream of the techno scene including warm-up slots for Claude Young, James Ruskin, Marcel Fengler, Shed, Peter van Hoesen, Joey Beltram, Octave One, Truss/MPIA3, Detroit Techno Militia, Forward Strategy Group, 65d Mavericks, Subjected and Xhin amongst others. That was supplemented by appearing on the same bill as many other DJs and artists including Hardfloor, CJ Bolland, Woody McBride, Alan Oldham, Rolando, Derrick May, DJ Bone, Reeko, Exium, Sandwell District, Grovskopa, Ancient Methods, Inigo Kennedy, Bas Mooy, Damon Wild, Takaaki Itoh, Go Hiyama and Neil Landstrumm.

OkayDokes was shaped by early house, experimental electronica, Detroit techno, and most things funky—sounds that crackled through the city’s pirate radio airwaves of his hometown of Sheffield, UK.

Today the passion remains unwavering and hotter than your mate's dodgy BBQ.  Broadcasting straight outta Melbourne, Australia, with lovingly curated Soundcloud mixes spicier than a late-night kebab, with tunes that hit harder than your mate Dave after "just one drink."

However my main obsessive focus lies mainly into old school electro and underground futuristic new school electro (Morphology, ERP, Versalife, Kan3da, Plant 43, 214, Analogical Force, CPU, AS1, Umwelt, AC records, Microlith, Armec, Sound Synthesis, Biochip, Illektrolab , Info, Lake Haze and many more), underground acid house (JTC - The Dancing Box and Creep Acid, 808 State Newbuild are some of my favorites), razor blade edits, Moog records, perverted comedy records, Bleeps and Breaks, 90-92 Hardcore techno and early rave tracks, smooth and sleek Detroit Style techno, electronic sound effect and obscure spoken word records and electronic listening music from the beginning to now..

As has been said by many others before, "There are 2 types of music, good music and bad music".

I have about 100 of my own tracks to finish, some are already done, some just need some fine tuning. I am going to use this channel mainly for Dj Mixes with a few of my own tracks on here as well.  Eventually they will get on my BandCamp, or even better, hopefully I will get something released on vinyl.
