In collaboration with the visionary and late Benjamin Aillery, The Sounds of Blackness showcase at STRAAT transcended mere beats. This set contains music and spoken word that explored the potent ties between music, art, racism, equality, & social change.

GDE's ADE Cultural Event, The Sounds of Blackness, became a canvas for powerful expression. Street artists 👩🏽‍🎨 Erico Smit & 👩🏻‍🎨 Noël Deelen painted emotions stirred by beats and rhythms, creating masterpieces in real-time.
