Departure October is an autumnal reflection on the shared human experience of drifting through life feeling alone. This isolation turns into connection and willingness to hold onto the life despite its ups and downs, and the departure of loved ones. It is a third single from Menaura's upcoming debut album, due to be released in 2026.

It’s indie rock with jangle-pop sparkle, post-punk heartbeat, and the calm, unbothered aura of someone who has already survived three relationship plot twists, two monologues, and one mysteriously slammed door.

Here’s the dynamic:
They: changes season, mood, haircut and entire personality every four minutes.
You: “Cool. I’ll be over here. Breathing.”

They storm around kicking up dust, lighting metaphorical matches, painting imaginary thunderstorms on your ceiling like an avant-garde weather report nobody asked for.
Meanwhile, you’re proudly practicing the ancient art of Not Giving Them The Reaction They Are Fishing For™ — a martial discipline passed down since childhood and powered entirely by patience, caffeine, and mild existential resignation.

Somehow, your stillness is their personal magnet.

They keep testing your walls.
They keep poking the emotional bear…
…and the bear just quietly sips tea.
