Jacquie Chandler is the Chief Visionary Officer and Executive Director of Sustainable Tahoe, an organization dedicated to advancing geotourism and environmental stewardship in the Lake Tahoe Basin.

Her journey into sustainability advocacy began while working as a Corporate Story Coach for a local sales messaging company. A turning point came when she attended a tourism conference in South Lake Tahoe, where she was inspired by success stories of destinations embracing geotourism. This experience led to her appointment as the Geotourism Liaison for the Lake Tahoe Basin by the National Geographic Center for Sustainable Destinations (NGCSD).

In 2010, Jacquie founded Sustainable Tahoe, leveraging her role and passion to champion sustainable tourism throughout the Tahoe watershed. Under her leadership, the organization has fostered partnerships and collaborative models that promote geotourism, engaging a diverse network of stakeholders, including local businesses, agencies, and indigenous communities. Notably, members of the Washo and Paiute tribes have been integral to every public event hosted by Sustainable Tahoe, underscoring her commitment to inclusive, culturally respectful stewardship.

Beyond advocacy and administration, Jacquie is deeply involved in education and experiential learning. She actively promotes nature-based wellness practices and has contributed to discussions on rewilding and reconnecting with nature through the EarthGym. Her multifaceted efforts continue to shape a more sustainable and environmentally conscious future for the Lake Tahoe region.

Kulvinder Reyatt - Arts and Culture Network

Caroline Amoros is a visionary artist whose work transforms public spaces into platforms for cultural dialogue and poetic expression. Working across disciplines—stage performance, visual arts, and social commentary—she moves seamlessly from city to city, creating site-responsive works that explore identity, belonging, and community.

Her art is deeply collaborative, shaped by the unique character of each place and the people within it. Influenced by Anne Dufourmantelle’s philosophy of gentleness, Amoros brings a reflective and emotionally resonant approach to her performances.

Trained in dance and mime with Morton Potash and Ingeborg Liptay in Montpellier, she later studied contemporary performance in London and Winnipeg, earning degrees in Linguistics and Elizabethan Theater. She has worked internationally, developing bold character-driven performances in collaboration with artists such as choreographer Maria de Corte and writer Rémi Cecchetto.

Amoros’s long-standing partnership with photojournalist Raphaël Helle has produced pioneering work that blurs fiction and reality. Projects like Miss Yellow, first staged during the 2000 Women’s World March, and Kristin, embedded in Obama’s 2008 U.S. campaign, placed fictional personas in real-life contexts, earning widespread media attention.

Her ongoing climate-focused project Miss O’Range spans countries and continents, with performances in Morocco, Iceland, Sweden, Australia, and beyond. Whether on melting glaciers or in five-star hotels, Amoros stages poetic interventions that confront ecological and societal change.

Her recent work Kiki Helsingor, created for Helsingor’s Theatre, explores questions of identity across borders. Through all her work, Caroline Amoros reimagines public space as a living stage—where art becomes dialogue, and performance becomes presence.

Caroline Amoros - Arts and Culture Network

Lorentz Gullachsen is a commercial and portrait photographer with a wide-ranging portfolio that spans advertising, travel, automotive, healthcare, and telecommunications. His work has supported leading brands including Bentley, Land Rover, Honda, Vodafone, BT, British Airways, Johnson & Johnson, Claridges, and a number of international tourism boards. He also contributes editorial and stock photography to Getty.

In 2008, Lorentz returned to university to study Visual Communication (Still & Moving Image), earning his MA in 2010. This marked a turning point in his practice—broadening his creative direction toward fine art photography and incorporating moving image into his commercial work.

While his assignments are varied, his focus is often on people. His portraits have earned multiple awards—including D&AD Pencils and Gold, Silver, and Bronze honors from the Association of Photographers—and have been exhibited in venues such as Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, the ArtsHouse Stratford-upon-Avon, and London’s Drummond Street Gallery. His work is held in both private collections and public archives, including the National Portrait Gallery and the Birmingham Library Photographic Archive.

In recent years, Lorentz has focused more on portrait and lifestyle photography for the charity and non-profit sector, creating image banks for organizations such as Shelter, Centrepoint, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Asthma UK, the British Lung Foundation, and Dying with Dignity.

Alongside his commercial and personal projects, Lorentz is a committed educator. He teaches photography and visual communication as a visiting lecturer at several UK universities and is also an online tutor for the Open College of the Arts.

In 2015, he founded GULHOS, a dedicated production service for the hospitality and travel industries, providing high-quality stills and video content for destinations, food, drink, and lifestyle brands.

With a career grounded in creativity, communication, and a deep interest in people, Lorentz continues to bring thoughtful storytelling and visual clarity to every project he takes on.

Lorentz Gullachsen - Photographer

Parama Roy Bardhan is a distinguished Bharatanatyam performer whose journey from a small town near Kolkata to international stages reflects both her passion for Indian classical dance and her unwavering perseverance.

Born and raised in Khardah, a suburb of Kolkata, Parama was introduced to dance at the age of four. Immersed in an artistic environment, she explored various forms of expression before devoting herself to Bharatanatyam, training under the respected Guru Sri Pradeepta Niyogi for over 12 years. She also briefly studied Kathak, but Bharatanatyam remained her true calling.

The premature loss of her father shifted her focus to academics, leading her to pursue a B.Tech. in Software Engineering. Determined to become self-reliant, she built a career in the tech industry. After marrying in 2014, she relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where she continued working full-time in software while quietly holding on to her passion for dance.

In 2019, Parama revived her relationship with Bharatanatyam, re-entering the world of performance after a significant hiatus. By 2021, she was once again performing on stage—initially within Indian community events and then, increasingly, on mainstream multicultural platforms across the United States.

Standing out as a solo classical performer in a space typically dominated by group presentations, Parama brought Bharatanatyam to broader audiences. Her performances at events such as the Cobb County International Festival and the Johns Creek International Festival earned widespread appreciation. In one instance, she was the only artist to represent India among participants from eight countries. Her solo presentation of Thillana drew attention not only from audiences but also from media outlets including Appen Media and the Marietta Daily Journal.

Her path, however, was not without setbacks. Early in her performance journey in the U.S., she was discouraged when political interference overshadowed talent at a professional competition. Rather than give up, she used the experience as fuel, applying to high-level national and international festivals and competitions. Her persistence was rewarded with recognition from the Indian Cultural Council, the Australian Council, and the U.S. Arts Council. One of her proudest honours was receiving the Best Traditional Dancer – Professional Category from the Australian Cultural Heritage Council.

Beyond performance, Parama is deeply committed to education and cultural exchange. She has conducted demonstrations in schools, introducing the discipline and storytelling power of Bharatanatyam to young learners from diverse backgrounds. She has also gained praise as a choreographer, crafting performances that bridge tradition and contemporary relevance.

For Parama, Bharatanatyam is more than a performance art—it is a holistic discipline that nurtures physical vitality, emotional expression, and spiritual focus. She speaks passionately about its benefits, from cardiovascular health to meditative awareness and the power of connecting deeply with emotion through movement.

With over 17 years of dedication to the art, Parama Roy Bardhan has established herself as a passionate cultural ambassador. Her journey is a testament to resilience, devotion, and the ability of classical art to connect people across cultures and continents.

Maraña is an interdisciplinary performance company known for its immersive wool art installations created by Chilean artistic director Paula Riquelme. Dr. Quahana Hendree is an art consultant, theologian, and cultural strategist whose 25+ year career blends business, art, and faith. Based in St. Louis, Missouri, she is the founder of Q. Hendree Art Consulting, where she advises corporate, government, and commercial clients on selecting artwork that transforms their spaces and reflects their mission, culture, and values. Her expertise spans curation, collection stewardship, and placemaking.

With academic credentials in marketing, organisational behaviour, art history, arts management, and theology, Dr. Hendree brings both strategic insight and spiritual depth to her work. She previously held leadership roles at the Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society, contributing to major campaigns and launching inclusive arts initiatives.

She is also the founder of Masterpiece Ministries (Ephesians 2:10), a faith-based platform for mentorship, spiritual formation, and creative development.

Nigel Hilditch is a highly experienced content strategist and video producer with over 20 years’ experience spanning television, journalism, and the arts. He has worked with the BBC, Bloomberg, Reuters, Discovery Channel, and served as Head of Video at Sotheby’s, where he produced award-winning series and high-profile campaigns, including the David Bowie art collection.

A fluent Japanese speaker and former Tokyo resident, Nigel’s global perspective and cultural intelligence inform his approach to storytelling. He is known for his ability to craft visually engaging, narrative-led content across platforms—connecting with audiences while preserving artistic integrity.

In a recent role with The Arts Society, Nigel spearheaded a digital content initiative focused on arts and wellbeing, using research such as Your Brain on Art to demonstrate how engagement with the arts benefits mental health. His interests include indie music, Japanese cinema, and cross-cultural collaborations.
