i could almost not believe it when i read the invitation,
to play at this party thrown’ by Depth over Distance X Housenation Amsterdam .
by coincidence, they invited me the same night when i had my debut in Toekomstmuziek, which is the same venue, 
where i felt really happy and relaxed.
still, i felt a bit excited for this gig tough, 
playin’ in the middle between my dj-homies.  
i feel flattered and proud that they granted me this,
and look forward to what the future has in store for us!

Arturo Garces is a DJ and producer hailing from San Jose, California, where he has been immersed in the vibrant dance music scene since childhood. Growing up as the son of a collector of funk, soul, and disco records, Arturo was exposed to the roots of house music from an early age, evident in his works as a DJ and producer today. With a solid collection of tracks under his belt, Arturo has helped define the unique and emerging Silicon Valley sound, seamlessly blending the driving beats and energy of techno with the soulful, deep melodies of house.

In addition to releasing tracks on both established and underground labels like Robsoul, Cross Section, Henry Street Music, and Oomph, Arturo is also the label manager for three prominent labels: Jump Recordings (a house imprint based in San Jose), Beat Bum Music (focused on deep jackin beats), and Resource Records (a techno label). Arturo's passion for dance music extends beyond his own music; he initiated Rhythm Ritual, a community-driven event, and actively collaborates on various community initiatives with his team.

With a strong foundation in dance music and a dedication to his craft, Arturo is an artist to watch. His unique approach to blending different genres and his commitment to supporting and promoting the music of others make him a vital member of the dance music community.

with sucre. around, the crowd will be dancing and smiling non-stop. that’s because everyone loves sucre.

'my mission is to make people dance and smile on house music. next to mix ‘n match my fav’ records (fyi: also them vinyls 🤙🏽) & dancing around the decks, me and my hubby produce our own sucre. tracks, sampling oldskool hiphop, jazz & disco gems. expect some real underground mischievous beats with a flourish touch, as it's my ultimate goal to take the audience on a happy musical journey, leaving nothing but energy and bliss on the dancefloor.
