Se puede resignificar y recodificar una canción infantil y llevarla a un terreno radicalmente opuesto: el de las pistas de baile más crudas de los circuitos alternativos del Tercer Mundo. A eso suena "Free Baby", tercer y último adelanto de lo que será el álbum de debut de restinga, que precisamente llevará el título de esta canción.

Influenciada por la popular e icónica canción infantil “Baba Fein”, muy conocida en el mundo árabe; pero mezclando el ritmo de la derbouga con el funk de favela, restinga usa sonidos de sintetizadores muy conocidos dentro de la música árabe y raï, pero los utiliza de forma muy punzante, llevando la canción a otro terreno: el de un hit que se debate entre el pop árabe, la música de club más dirty y un culto a la nostalgia de la propia artista.

Ese imaginario completamente mixto, que serpentea y desdibuja las fronteras entre la música árabe (una gran desconocida en el mundo occidental, a pesar de estar muy cerca geográficamente), el pop alternativo de sonido más contemporáneo y las diversas diásporas e influencias de las músicas de baile actuales, es lo que da un arco sonoro absolutamente singular a una restinga que ya había presentado previamente los adelantos "Desvelhada" y "salina".
