This track is my debut in using synthesizers and synthesized sounds which is fitting for the topic of the piece! I composed this one as music to accompany a reel of ethereal northern light footage that I edited along with it. The idea was to create a sound world that reflects the personality, character and delicacy of the aurora borealis but also to be ambient enough to carry a documentarian voice-over. I really took my time making this one and I'm entirely happy with how it turned out! Enjoy!

Italy meets Switzerland - Think Trance presents AURORA BOREALIS, the collaboration of PAIPY and DJ SPACEMAN.

Giuseppe Cerutti aka Paipy teamed up with label boss Oliver Zulliger aka DJ Spaceman for their powerful Uplifting Trance trip to the northernmost point of the world with its magical polar lights.

Paipy has been busy the last couple of years with releases and remixes on high-profile labels such as Phoenix Recordings, Tuned:Flow, Regenerate, Monster, Go, Grotesque, Uplift, FSOE, ZYX Trance (...and the list goes on).

Alto saxes open with soprano saxes improvising. Clarinets with octaver provide the bass.
Flutes lines join then return with clarinets and tenor sax.
Tenor sax riff joined by Indian flute improvisation then clarinet.

Hey there, Riprider here (Riden for short). Sorry for not posting as much, school and other projects are mainly to blame for this...... but I did also want to get out 1 amazing piece for you all. During the last few months, I participated in the "Fanmade arcaea chart Of Fighters", and if you don't know what that is, Look up the BMS of fighters, think that, but fanmade arcaea charts in a custom program. I was part of team "Sine Fine Stellae", Latin for "Endless stars". This song is the result of envisioning an aurora within or through those said stars. I think the song fit very well with that theme. With a combination of Christmas lights, snow, and DM Dokuro's "Saturn" being big inspirations, I think this is worthy of one of my favorite songs I have written.

Cinematique was found in the beginning of 2010 by Robin de Lange also known by some of his friends as the 'Manual Driver' for driving Manual Music artists around the country to their gigs. The label started as a Manual distribution label first and has become an official sister label of Manual Music since 1 January 2012.

Cinematique presents itselves as the widescreen of electronic music. It explores the boundaries from house to techno and everything in between. Cinematique offers a platform for open minded producers, known and unknown, who wants to spread their music into this universe. The label will have a strong focus on creativity, originality, danceability and diversity. 

Cinematique is sometimes edgy, sometimes dreamy, sometimes naughty, but never boring. Releases have been supported by the likes of James Holden, Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, Nick Warren, Eelke Kleijn, Laurent Garnier, Orde Meikle, Dr. Motte and many more.
