Hillbilly Funk is the ultimate mash‑up: breakbeats meet banjos, rap meets rodeo. It’s cheeky, bold, and stomps from the city streets to the back paddock. Fat basslines, brass hits, and a call‑and‑response hook that’ll have you yelling, “Do the Hillbilly Funk!”

This one goes back a ways—I wrote the first version about 15 years ago after a wild DJ gig up in Gladstone. The vibe stuck, the story grew, and sat on the back burner until now! The groove turned into a full‑blown floor‑stomper: barnyard grooves over crisp breakbeat drums, country twang riding shotgun with city swagger. Think neon lights, boot‑stomp rhythms, and a crowd who knows every chant.

From Brisbane bayside to back‑paddock parties, Hillbilly Funk is pure dancefloor fun. Play it loud!
