S:mack, a DJ hailing from Tarntanya (Adelaide, AU) with a remarkable 17-year history of passion and enthusiasm for the music scene. Over the past decade, S:mack has honed her mixing skills, transforming her hobby into an art form, and has recently celebrated her one-year milestone since her live debut.

Recognised for her unique style, S:mack seamlessly blends the essence of old-school classics with cutting-edge tracks, skillfully intertwining girly lyrics with grimy rollers to create a unique sound.

S:mack's musical prowess has graced a multitude of SA venues and events, making  appearances at events such as the SA DNB party, Winston, and private gatherings. She teamed up in a B2B collaboration with her partner in crime, St3ph, during an girls' night, further solidifying her reputation in the SA scene.

S:mack has had the privilege of playing events like Fight Them With Bass and Subalicious's DNA. She also showcased her skills during a memorable B2B set alongside St3ph at a producer's night at the Gala Room.

Her achievements also include supporting Mampi Swift and Roni Size in the Barossa Valley, an unforgettable experience that showcased her proficiency and versatility behind the decks.

Introducing... Guest Mix #066 S:mack

A week after Basscamp 2023, and my heart is still brimming with the  energy of that  weekend. I have boundless gratitude to Darcy, Atlanta, and the entire Enigmatic Industries team for making this years Basscamp one that will never be forgotten. This year, they've truly outdone themselves, and it's as if the benevolent deities above have showered us all with their  blessings, painting our days with sunshine and our nights with shimmering stars.

Absolutely incredible weekend with so many bloody awesome humans. I had the joy of meeting countless individuals who had been my "online DJ mates" for some time, rekindling connections with dear old friends, and weaving new friendships that seem as vast as the cosmos itself. It was a weekend filled with electrifying music, laughing til it hurts, and endless banter - a true treasure worth falling over for time and time again (I have so many bruises).

Finally uploading my set to Soundcloud, a gift for those who missed it, a sweet memory for those who wish to relive it, and a harmonious journey for all those in between.

My heart is full of love for the extended Basscamp family, and I can't wait to reunite with each and every one of you. Until then, may your lives be filled with joy and bass so sick it makes you spew!

Skitzoid is the creative alias of multi-faceted bass producer Matthew Parker. Hailing from Meanjin (Brisbane AU), Matt is a versatile bass producer with a rich nine-year history deeply embedded in genres such as drum and bass, jungle, dubstep, and neurobreaks. His musical exploration extends to more niche genres like halftime, glitch, and footwork.

He has amassed a diverse and extensive discography of underground music, signing with various heavyweight labels such as Prime Audio (UK), Audio Swarm (UK), Dirty Kitchen Rave (UK), 8Ball Audio (AU), Bass Militia Records (UK), Badkill (US), among others.

A familiar presence across the Mulubinba, Eora, and bush doof scene, she contributes quietly but meaningfully to the underground community as creative director of Newy Bass Crew, advocating for safe and inclusive spaces and emphasis on music over ego. Launched in late 2021, the crew comprises of a plethora of DJs from the region and have gone on to hold numerous club events, showcases, fundraisers and secret parties, as well as hosting jungle and drum and bass legend, Dillinja, in Eora in early 2023, and holding a stage takeover at Subsonic Festival in late 2023 as well as at the Eora’s KOAN Sound boat party in 2024. NBC kicked off 2025 in collaboration with Subjective Eora and Wonky Nomad Productions for the Open Air City Doof, featuring the UK’s Hypho and PAV4N, in Eora, and a stage takeover at Antigravity 2025.

Our involvement in the local scene includes a history of local-focussed events and co-hosting a radio show on Orbital Radio Sydney from 2021 until its closure in 2023. Since then, we've continued to support the scene through our weekly mix series on Soundcloud, surpassing it's 100th feature in 2024. This series showcases talent from across Australia and the globe.

Our DJs cover a wide range of bass genres, including drum and bass, jungle, dubstep, footwork, UKG, bass house, psy dub, and more. Diversity, inclusivity, and safety are central to our events, and we are dedicated to fostering a sense of community within the bass scene.

With a big focus on underground rave and doof culture and safe spaces, our crew members have been featured at various events including Basscamp, Zenith Gathering, Dragon Dreaming Festival, Rain Dance Festival, Origins of Entropy, SubTerra, Esoteric Festival, RootBound Festival, Initiation Festival, Art Valley and more.
