Comes Love

Microfiche are a six-piece improviser-composer ensemble, whose music explores minimalist compositional processes to create both long-form and miniature works. Since forming in 2015 they have shown themselves to be one of Australia's most forward-thinking and creative improvising ensemble. They released two studio albums, a live EP, conducted a month-long performance residency with special guests including Chris Abrahams (The Necks), Phil Slater, Sia Ahmad and Bonniesongs, and have toured both around Europe including at Copenhagen Jazz Festival.

OhMaSoul blend neo-soul grooves, jazzy harmonies, and a cheeky lyrical twist into a sound that's as thoughtful as it is funky. Led by the expressive vocals of Jemimah Hiscox, with deep analog keys from James Brinkhoff and laid-back grooves by Thomas Hogarth, this trio brings heart, soul and body to every track.
Based in regional New South Wales, they craft stories of love, loss, rusty old trucks, and office-speak absurdity. Their debut EP “Always Here” (recorded by Pat Harris, mixed by Jim Kelly) captures the rich chemistry of their live sets.
