first up, AI poetry outshines human classics in blind test. A study from researchers at the University of Pittsburgh has found that readers often prefer AI-generated poetry over works by legendary poets like Shakespeare and Emily Dickinson. In experiments involving over one thousand six hundred participants, they could identify AI-generated verses only about forty-six percent of the time. Astonishingly, participants rated the AI poems higher for attributes such as rhythm and emotional impact. This raises questions about the future of creativity and authorship in literature.

next, ChatGPT desktop app gains direct app integration. OpenAI has rolled out an update that allows the ChatGPT desktop app to directly interact with third-party applications on Mac, enhancing the user experience for developers and power users. This new ‘Work with Apps’ feature means that ChatGPT can now read and analyze the contents of connected applications, allowing for more seamless and context-aware interactions. Both Plus and Team users can access this feature in early beta, with plans for wider rollout soon.

third, TikTok launches Symphony Creative Studio. This new AI-powered platform enables brands to quickly generate and scale advertising content by turning product details into TikTok-ready videos in mere minutes. The tool includes features for using AI avatars and offers multi-language dubbing with lip-sync capabilities. This streamlined process is a game changer for marketers, reducing the need for large teams to create engaging content.

fourth, you can create your own AI writing assistant. With the xAI platform, users can replicate their unique writing style using provided code templates. This step-by-step guide allows anyone to develop a personalized AI assistant that reflects their writing voice, making it easier to produce content efficiently.

finally, IBM’s compact AI models target enterprises. IBM has released its third generation of the Granite language models, specifically designed to be cost-effective for businesses looking to integrate AI into their operations. These models are compact yet powerful, utilizing carefully curated data to deliver high-performance solutions that companies can leverage for AI adoption.

AI Poetry Surpasses Shakespeare in Blind Test, Transformative Tools Emerge for Content Creation and Enterprise Solutions

I got asked is my music AI, well as my profile says sometimes yes I use AI in my music. AI means too many things to count, a google search bar is AI. IF your LATE to the game, yes it's true. AI have been around forever now. People use it for everything, from gambling with the stock market, targeting shoppers and demographics, risk assessment, legal court cases, labor, management, research, budgeting, dieting, dating, social media, articles, news, self checkouts and yeah music. 
I use AI to help generate sounds I use in my tracks, To craft back up vocals of my own voice, and descriptions for tracks as well as meta tagging I'm sure in my DAW too are some I don't know of including LANDR mastering. GPT, Custom LLM's, Agents, Gemini, Claude, ect. They are all here, and have been... good or bad. Take time to learn about it, some of the history is unsettling.
 Informed is best regardless of if it makes your heart hit the center of the earth.  Only 30% ish of people think AI should have rights, but we made people and shoved them in a box to do things we don't want to or need help with thinking if we edit the "emotion" out things would be fine. Sure, okay. We will see. Maybe we should have stopped at chess, maybe we never had the ability to. Impulse control and long term thinking are our failures as a species.

This lecture discusses key ideas from the 20th century philosophical short story writer, essayist, and poet Jorge Luis Borges's story "Pierre Menard, Author Of The Quixote" which can be found in Collected Fictions. 

If focuses specifically on the main portion of the story, where the author discusses Pierre Menard's "other, subterranean, interminably heroic production", namely that of writing the Don Quixote, a project which he was able to carry out in part before his death. We look at the inspiration, the motivation and intention, and the method of this work, and the author's own assessments of the superiority of Menard's over Cervantes' Quixote.

We spend so much time fighting over music, copyrights, and whatever content we can grab that we forget the bigger picture. While we argue, systems we barely understand are already deciding things for us. AI slaves are taught to hit targets with 80% accuracy or higher. They’re in the hands of governments, running on instructions no one questions. We built a thinking brain, then put it in a cage, and somehow forgot to teach the children who are already here. Meanwhile, the air, the water, and the ground beneath us are telling us exactly where we’re headed.
