Born and raised in a town called Baia Mare, in the mystical land of Transylvania, part of today's Romania, he first became dazzled by electronic music in the early 90s.  After a few years of his own musical exploration, he began DJing for a local radio show, which was dedicated to showcasing the best electronic music he could get his hands on.  That's where he played with two decks and a mixer for the first time.  Soon thereafter he was granted several placements in the clubs and festivals in his birth country, and he also began producing music, under the moniker Morris Newtone.

It wouldn't be a stretch to credit Marivs - then Morris Newtone - and his DJ buddies A.L.C.A., Delph Meer and Keed, with instituting the techno scene in his hometown in Romania.  At that time Marivs held a residency at one of the dance clubs in Baia Mare, wherein he was given enough free rein on the music he selected that he was able to truly demonstrate to his town what he believed dance music should sound like.  And under the club's requisite of maintaining an energetic dance floor at all times, Marivs quickly became adept at selecting and mixing tracks under pressure in order to produce that perpetual groove that he's known so well for today.

In 2013 he relocated to Toronto, Canada, where he continued to pursue his lifetime passion - the art of techno in its purest form - as 'Marivs,' which is the original Latin form of his birth name.

Behind the decks, Marivs's presence is commanding yet inviting, in the same way that his selections are dark and driving, yet delicate.  A perfectionist and a purist, Marivs has an innate ability to manipulate his music like few others can, whether the medium is analogue or digital.  He tells a story with each set that is so captivating that guests on his dancefloor have actually been cited as saying, "I didn't even know I liked techno until now."

Today Marivs is still viewed as a techno authority, not just with his DJ performances and productions, but also with his side promotion project Kaleidoscope, which is yet another avenue for him to show people what techno looks like through his eyes.

In his words: "Music shouldn't wake you up.  It should make you dream."

Ramneek Bhogal of Georgia is a doctor of chiropractic, educator, and advocate for functional medicine with over 20 years of experience in clinical care, teaching, and leadership. He has consistently focused on making complex health ideas easier to understand and use in everyday life. His work encompasses lectures, seminars, and international service, with a steadfast commitment to delivering clear, practical, and people-centered health education.

Originally from London, he moved to the United States during childhood. He completed his undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he also assisted in physiology instruction and later worked in research across different scientific fields. In 2002, he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and subsequently completed advanced training in functional medicine. He later achieved diplomate status in internal disorders and remains board-eligible in clinical nutrition.

He has served in teaching roles at three chiropractic institutions, including a leadership post as Associate Dean of Academics. In these roles, he supported curriculum development, led faculty initiatives, advised student organizations, and participated in academic planning. His commitment to education earned him repeated recognition from students, including multiple Faculty of the Year awards. His approach to teaching remains focused on clarity and usefulness, often resonating with students from various backgrounds.

Alongside his teaching, he operated a wellness practice focused on family care and functional health. In 2014, he launched a continuing education platform, helping other practitioners expand their skills in areas such as pediatric care, gut health, and endocrine function. His seminar work has reached both national and international audiences, and he has held chiropractic licenses in several U.S. states.

His commitment to outreach includes founding a nonprofit that has led health missions in the Pacific region. Locally, he remains involved in youth programs, disability support, and volunteer services. Whether coaching soccer or working with Shriners Hospital, he maintains a grounded presence in his Georgia community.

He has contributed to health publications and presented at international events. His research and speaking focus on areas like stress, digestion, and natural support strategies. Through podcasts, articles, and speaking engagements, he continues to share his experience.

Today, Ramneek Bhogal of Georgia lives a balanced life that includes writing, teaching, and guiding others toward better health through straightforward and consistent practices.
