One hundred 💯 minutes of Early Italian Hardstyle tracks, released between 2000 and 2008. 

It was the Early Hardstyle’s exclusive Reverse Bass that made Hardstyle a raw, dark and uncomplicated new harder style.
Italian producers completed that with their authentic and distinguishing signature, which dominated the Hardstyle scene for quite some time. 
I think Early Italian Hardstyle is like how it should be sounding and how Hardstyle was once meant to be. Loved it from day one, love it maybe even more today.

There are few words that are sufficient to describe Franky Jones. He has been around 
for over almost three decades, spreading his message of love the last 32 years through his beats.  Fast, slow, trippy, funky, mental, groovy and melodiues all with relentless passion. His broad musical taste ranges from disco to new wave and new beat in the early '80s to hiphop, house, techno and beyond !!!  Getting his inspiration from artists like Prince, Depeche Mode, Run DMC, The Beastie Boys and Kraftwerk, Dr Jones guides you to the outer edges of the musical universe.  He has played at some of 
the most legendary Raves like MAYDAY, LOVE PARADE, I LOVE TECHNO, TOMORROWLAND, 
HOUSE TORHOUT, INNER CITY and TECHNO 2000.  Franky is one of Belgium's most acknowledged artists, a true Pioneer !!!  
Franky was also one of the driving forces behind the illustrious Bonzai label, wich helped shape 
the face of the Belgian dance culture and beyond. His biggest production monster "THE FIRST REBIRTH" is still standing the test of time after 24 years and being played every weekend around the world !!! I decided to start deejaying late last year (November 2024) after being a spectator and a daily listener for many years. 
To be playing my own favourite tracks had always been my aspiration, the right time just didn’t came. Until it did in November last year, so I bought a decent DJ-controller and some proper audio gear. Without any deejay experience nor knowledge of how a DJ controller works whatsoever. 
I knew I could handle it and that I could teach myself some basic deejaying skills. Until now, I think that it worked out quite well 😎

But please forgive me when my self taught skills sound like shit! I'm a ROOKIE, after every time I’ve played I learned and notice the progression. Which motivates me to play more and more! I love it!!
The fact that I now have the opportunity and equipment to mix, record, and share the music I love so much on this platform, with everyone who’s interested in hearing what DJ Franquillizer is all about, is incredibly cool! 🙏🏻

My obsession with Hardstyle is more like an addiction really. I can and will proudly say that I’m a Hardstyle junkie. What that means like is something I can only explain through music. Our universal language!

              • These are my Musical Memoirs •


The first (big) event I ever attended was Mystery Land  Festival back in 2001. 
A year later, an anniversary edition of Qlubtempo (1st of June 2002, Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam) got me hooked on Hardstyle. It sounded like nothing else I had ever heard before and the Qlubtempo Hardstyle vibe was unparalleled. It was just perfect.

After Qlubtempo, hardstyle became a big part of my life. It shaped me as a person throughout the years. It contributed to my life in many ways; met my girlfriend at a party 20 years ago, had lots of social interaction at parties which brought me friends that I'm still lucky to have today, and I made memories that last forever.
I am so grateful that I have experienced it all and wouldn't have missed it for anything in the world.
