Tribak proudly announces the release of "Poly07” by Berlin-based duo Issmmah (Dj Badre & Tropikal Camel) .

In this groundbreaking EP, Issmmah fuses Moroccan heritage with contemporary urban electronic sounds, ushering in a new era of diaspora music deeply rooted in the rhythms of North Africa.

Moroccan music has an unparalleled diversity, ranging from the sacred ceremonies of Isawiyya to the Berber pentatonic melodies. Issmmah´s mission is dedicated to the exploration of these lost traditions, revving them in a contemporary form.

The EP opens with "Poly07," tension-filled percussive atmosphere sets the stage for an immersive experience. To further enrich the offering, we decided to release multiple versions of the track, each offering a unique perspective , expanding upon the original version.

On remix duties for "Poly07" is the illustrious Sneaker Dj(Bordello A Parigi, Uncanny Valley), who transports the track into his enigmatic realm. With his signature style, Sneaker Dj incorporates movie samples, glitchy editing, and an uplifting synth bass, creating a remix that defies expectations and pushes the boundaries of electronic music.

"My Heart," a tribute to Moroccan Jewish culture. Based on a sample from an old tape featuring Rabbi David Bozaglo, a revered spiritual figure in the Moroccan Jewish world, this track pays homage to his contributions to Arabic Jewish poetry and music. Through "My Heart," Issmmah resurrects the essence of Bozaglo's artistry, offering a holy remix that resonates with the spirit of the Moroccan diaspora.

Issmmah's vision is reviving the lost past of Moroccan music while infusing it with a cutting-edge sensibility. Through their innovative approach, Issmmah breathes new life into ancient traditions, awakening the diaspora to a vibrant tapestry of sound and culture.

Toujours calme et empathique, jamais sans son pin’s rappelant les Objectifs de Développement Durable des United Nations, il est surtout un véritable expert influent des questions de développement et s’engage avec passion et conviction pour faire reculer la pauvreté.
