Taneulong hails from Bafut, near Bamenda, Cameroon. Since 2017, there has been an armed conflict in this English speaking zone of Cameroon, with hundreds of thousands of people displaced, and thousands dead. However, as with many African tribes, the Bafut people are a happy people and most rhythms from this region propagate that happy vibe. 
Living in Bafut, right in the heart of the armed conflict, the artist is now more than ever aware of the value of peace.
In this song Mabu'u, Taneulong  highlights the value of Peace. "A Tribe of love is a Tribe that grows"... A nation of love is a nation that grows... A saying that resonates strongly within the context of the armed conflicts in Cameroon.... and the World.
