Way out West, an English duo formed by Jody Wisternoff and Nick Warren, who have produced and mixed a massive number of tracks and maintained their unique sound throughout their career. Since the day of my first Way Out West single Ajare from 1994, they have been one of my favourite artists.

From his adolescence, Charly developed an enormous passion for the art of the sounds. His affection for the paces and melodies grew with the time, where it discovered and fell in love with the house music. 

Obsessive collector and always opened new sources of inspiration, achieves that his his sets are always festive, enterteining and original. With to run of the time, it could connect the slopes of the house, with disc and tech, in different central points of his city, La Plata. 

It is possible to listen to it every month in Radio CEH, with his program " Love Is In The Air ", to an appointment forced for the lovers of the house music.

I started going to clubs in the early 90s, right around the time when electronic music hit the clubs. The countless events of the early 90s and the completely new music style and the atmosphere of smoky caves were something completely new. At that time, vinyls and CDs were listened and bought to in record stores. The most famous of which in Finland was Street Beat run by DJ Joke (RIP). Jokke was also an amazing DJ and is considered the father of Finnish techno culture.

Certain radio programs were another way to discover new artists and music. Perhaps the most influential of these for me was Beatbox run by Aki Matilainen of Radio CITY. DJ Orkidea's first radio mix was also recorded here (which I still have on Beatbox's C-cassette number 18). At that time, almost all the money was wasted on record stores and luckily I have saved those records to this day. Elektronic music is still a big part of my life every day and I thought it would be great to bring out those old songs. Especially the ones that you don't usually hear on every mix. Inspired by this, I started making my own mixes and bringing out the songs that many younger people may never have heard before.

I personally like more melodic trance and my biggest favorites over the years have been:

From the labels Eye Q, Harthouse, Limbo, Perfecto, Platipus, Rising High and Superstition.

From the artists BT, Grace, Oliver Lieb, Jan Johnston, Matt Darey, Paul Oakenfold, The Space Brothers, Way Out West and definitely of course Scooter!

Most memorable events that I have experienced in club scene is in the early 90s, DJ Kid Paul live at Botta in Helsinki. Grace perfoming live (in 95 or 96) on the Big Bang (not 100% sure about this name) cruise from Helsinki to Stockholm. Last year was the first Luminosity Beach, where I finally saw The Space Brothers and Matt Darey live, amazing!

Biografie:

1995 besuchte Sebastian die ersten Bunker Partys, und entdeckte seine Liebe zur Elektronischen Musik, schließlich fing er 1998 an mit dem Auflegen, unter dem Namen Sebastian Keks.
100% Vinyl DJ mit voller Hingabe, sein Sound ist geprägt vom Techno der neunziger. 
Sebastian lässt sich kaum kategorisieren, gespielt werden verschiedene Sub Genres zwischen 125-150 Bpm.
Als VINYLISMM eher so im Bereich electronic Music und Tech House bis hin zum minimal einzuordnen, als SEBASTIAN KEKS, ganz klar Techno, dies allerdings von Melodic, über Oldschool bis hin zum Hardtechno.

Sebastian gründete mit seinem Zwillingsbruder im Oktober 2000 die Crew Umweltpumpe1, die sich in den ersten Jahren auf Techno Veranstaltungen beschränkt hat.
2002 wurde dann aus Umweltpumpe1 ein kleines Techno Label (Up1 Records),.

Sebastian war von 2004 bis zum Closing 2013 resident DJ im Triebwerk Dresden 

2014 hat er die Veranstaltungsreihen
Nachteulen sowie Berlin Techno ins Leben gerufen

Seit März 2024 Mitglied bei SUT - Secret Underground Techno

2005 hat umweltpumpe1 die erste Party unter dem Namen, Gepflegtes Klopfen im Triebwerk Dresden veranstaltet hinzu kamen weitere in Deutschland und Polen. 
2024 startete ein weiteres Projekt, 
Gepflegtes Klopfen series, ein podcast Kanal.

Ab juni 2025 mit eigener Radio Sendung - Kekscore moments

Sebastian Keks hails from Berlin, a city steeped in electronic music history. From a young age, in 1998, he was drawn to the raw, tactile experience of vinyl records, which became the foundation of his lifelong love for techno culture. 
As an advocate for vinyl culture, 
Resident DJ at the Legendary Triebwerk Dresden over 10 years. 

Beyond his DJ career, Keks has made a significant impact with his productions. With a series of well-received EPs released on various labels, he showcases his deep understanding of the vinyl format while pushing the boundaries of techno with each new project. His work reflects both the timelessness of analog and the forward-thinking energy of the modern scene, cementing his place as a respected figure within both the Berlin techno scene and the broader European electronic music landscape.
In 2014, he launched the event series Nachteulen and Berlin Techno. Since March 2024, he has been a member of SUT - Secret Underground Techno.
In 2005, Umweltpumpe1 organized its first party under the name Gepflegtes Klopfen at Triebwerk Dresden, followed by additional events in Germany and Poland. In 2024, another project was launched: Gepflegtes Klopfen Series, a podcast channel focused on publishing techno sets by various DJs without any frills or gimmicks.
Since 2025 Radio Host for his own Radio show, Kekscore Moments , every first Saturday in month 6-8 pm on evosonic radio
