Driven by a desire to connect audiences through sound, Ponygirl draws inspiration from a wide range of musical influences to craft their own sonic identity. Their combination of refined drum rhythms, intricate percussive elements, and alien-like ambiences allows tension and release to flow organically. This sensitivity to dynamic range fosters a powerful exchange between artist and audience, where each performance becomes a shared, collective experience.

Ponygirl’s productions and sets unfold like narratives, shifting effortlessly between deep, earthy grooves and surreal, abstract textures, inviting listeners into an introspective, almost dreamlike state.

Seekers is the new EP from producer Gats — a dub-soaked, trance-tinged exploration of texture, rhythm, and atmosphere. Across three original tracks and a deep dub reinterpretation by Mozes, the record drifts between ambient dance, psychedelic shimmer, and experimental sound collage. Built from field recordings, found tones, and analogue synth fragments, Seekers captures the pulse of a city that never quite sleeps — dreamlike, disoriented, and vividly alive.

Producer Mozes Meijer reimagines one of the EP’s key pieces “Seekers” through his own lens. His dub-rooted interpretation doesn’t shy away from but veers closer to a certain reggae origin. It dives deep into the echo chamber, where bass becomes landscape and delay turns into dialogue. It’s a stripped-back yet immersive interpretation — less a remix than a meditative descent into space and weight.

Bad Balance: 

Malmö-based Bad Balance, founder of the mixcast series and club concept Malmö Techno Tales and one of the co-founders of the collective Kenopsia, began his DJ journey in 2020. It all started when he and a few friends took the leap to organize open-air events on the outskirts of Malmö. Since then, he has become a household name in his hometown and has had the opportunity to play at some of the most renowned clubs in Copenhagen.

He usually gravitates towards a mix of hypnotic and groovy techno sounds, with a penchant for blippy sounds, rhythmic beats, and round kicks.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is an intimate collection of artists exploring a curious mixture of New Wave, Dance, EDM, Folk Rock, Metal, Art Pop, Electro, Dreamwave, and Experimental World Pop. Collectively, this is known as QUIRKPOP — music that pushes the creative limits of traditional pop.

Expect an unpredictable journey through sound, emotion, and humor, where genres collide and pop bends in strange new ways. Each song is conceived, composed, and performed with total sincerity, whether it’s built from voices, instruments, software, or hybrid experimentation. The focus is on the music itself: if it resonates, it resonates. No explanation required.

SINCERE IMPOSTER is curated by two musicians, both living within the same body, sharing a singular existence. They identify as Danielle & Dave. They are both psychologically and musically confused, yet extremely and unapologetically sincere.

Influences range from Weird Al and Nathan Fielder to David Lynch, Rosalia, Monatik, Atarashii Gakko!, Rammstein, T-Pain, and T-Swift. 

Danielle & Dave’s favorite inventions include the vacuum and the peach pitter. Their father is simply known as Vessel… who may be an entity or a god.
