Le morceau s’ouvre sur la voix grave et habitée de Susana Arbizu, énonçant dans un murmure hypnotique les compétences  fascinantes des corvidés : empathie, planification, coopération, fabrication d’outils, et tant d’autres. Une litanie doucement incantée, qui nous relie à l’intelligence trop souvent méconnue de ces oiseaux. Progressivement, une trame électronique s’installe. Synthés vintage, percussions discrètes, envolées digitales : Avec subjectivité, Échap compose une cartographie sonore de leurs univers, leurs chants venant peupler l’espace. Mais la beauté laisse place à l’effroi : chaque année, des centaines de milliers de corneilles, choucas ou geais sont abattus, considérés comme « nuisibles ». Ce morceau est un hommage autant qu’un cri d’alerte : un appel à partager nos écosystèmes et à cohabiter ensemble.
