Recent weeks of immobility due to a wizardry accident had me turning to music for healing. My private vault of DJ sets—every session I’ve played in my studio since 2020—became my lifeline. Now, after some deep listening and deeper reflection, I’m ready to share them with you.

The Journey:
Originally recorded to explore new tracks and develop my rotary mixing skills after 20 odd years of playing on DJMs, these sets evolved into an unfiltered playground for my creativity. Mixing perfection? Overrated. These sessions prioritise mood, energy, and groove. 

Expect:
* At times deeper vibes and evolving energy levels
* The occasional (over)experimental mix or double-copy routine tryout.
* A few rough edges (needle fluff, unexpected vocal clashes, or more than a few beers during a mix).
But most importantly: 300+ hours of soul-warming Disco, House, Boogie, and more.

Let’s Groove:
These mixes which usually simmer somewhere between 90-130bpm became my sanctuary during lockdowns—a personal dance floor in the booth I’ve refined over almost 30 years.
My aim? Heads nodding, feet moving, people smiling and even if it is just for 5 minutes, hearing a song so good you feel fabulous. 
DJs and purists, be kind—these were never meant for public ears.

Tech Notes:
Every mix was recorded live in one take using vinyl and/or digital played on 2x Technics 1210MK7, 2x CDJ3000, Serato DJ Pro, and rotary mixers (Rane MP2015 then MasterSounds 4Valve MK2). Some sets shine in WAV, others are MP3 due to file size.
