This time with the guys from Beyond The Struttosphere from London.

BIO
Beyond The Struttopshere is a sonic collaboration between two London-based DJs channelling their considerable musical production experience and boundless love of cosmic chugging dark disco. 
Their trademark sound combines fat chugging basslines with reverbed guitar riffs, cosmic synths, syncopated arpeggiators, retro-future vocal samples, Italo drum fills and psychedelic 303 sequences. 
Their debut EP ‘New Frontier’ was released on Gouranga Music in 2020 and found much acclaim among Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston’s A Love From Outer Space online fraternity, also appearing on Juan Mclean’s (DFA Records) contribution to Tim Sweeney’s Beats In Space mix series. 
This propelled the duo to newfound heights, leading to highly lauded releases on esteemed labels such as Mélopée Records, Astrolead Recordings, Discolypso, In Dark We Trust, Emerald & Doreen and X-PRESSINGS. 
Beyond The Struttosphere’s music is now making sonic reverberations around the globe, hitting the dancefloors of Burning Man, House of Yes NYC, ADE and Sisyphos Berlin, and notching up remixes from legends of the scene including Rebolledo, Rigopolar, Vongold, James Rod, Ivan Fabra, K-Effect, Roliva and Mufti. 
The cosmonauts are currently deep in the studio, working on new material, with live guitar now a mainstay of their productions. 
Catch them DJ’ing this summer on the UK festival circuit and strap yourselves in for an interstellar journey Beyond The Struttosphere!

I had the pleasure of sharing the decks the lovely Sarahtonin for an extended session at BST, Hyde Park, London... on a not so summery Summers evening at BrewLDN!

The set culminated in quite a heavy downpour with most diving for cover... and the DJ booth getting very cosy while we dug out our best Rain anthems to close.

Nicole discusses the barriers faced not only by individuals receiving services but also by providers themselves—challenges that are often overlooked but are critical to understanding the broader scope of support needed in the field. She shares how her agency worked to overcome these challenges, leveraging technology to support their initiatives.

Nicole discusses the pyramidal model and outlines four foundational practices for promoting healthy behavior among DSPs. She provides a quick overview of these practices and how they align with the Tier 1 universal supports in the multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS). 

Nicole also dives into the importance of Behavioral Skills Training (BST), explaining how it formed the foundation for healthy behavioral practices and contributed to her agency's success. The conversation covers how training and maintenance plans were integrated to ensure DSPs retained the knowledge gained through their training, which played a significant role in sustaining the long-term success of the initiative.

Nicole shares results from the implementation and how these outcomes reflect the overall effectiveness of their agency-wide strategy. She also elaborates on the Tier 2 approach featuring a Behavior Specialist Curriculum. 

Finally, for other providers considering implementing a similar multi-tiered system, Nicole offers valuable advice and shares key lessons learned from her experience.
