The final regular show of EVERY year tends to be extra-charged and extended, and this year was no exception- so large and loaded that it became a megashow so it comes in 2 parts! Part 1 of this 5-hour show includes a DJ CJ "Starstruck Medley" in hour 1, 2-fers from Charli XCX, Bon Jovi and Debbie Deb (there's a specific reason for Debbie Deb, which you'll hear about), and even more premiere mixes than normal as this last regular show of 2024 was designed to fill the void between now and the NYE megashow (normal 8PM CT/9PM ET on 12/31). In addition to the hits of NOW, throwbacks in radical remixes incl. Young MC, Celine Dion in a DRUM-N-BASS mix, and Styx. Saturday Night Mixtacy 12/14/24- the regular show finale of 2024 and it's massive (Part 1 of 2)!

The first show of 2025 had everything you expect from Saturday Night Mixtacy- the hits of the moment, many of them in premiere mixes, unexpected backspins (including premiere mixes of Expose & the Beatles' Come Together in hr 1, A-Ha & Nickelback in a drum-n-bass mix in hr 2, Pet Shop Boys, Snap and a fiery remake of Rammstein's Du Hast in hr 3), a musical ride overall in hour 2 and a loaded High NRG hour #3!

One of my favorite regular shows in recent memory, it had it all- hot mixes of the hits of the moment as always, but also a theme throughout the show, which for this one was 80s Connections, a theme we've done in previous years on the last show before the All 80s All Nighter show, to whet your appetite for that epic 80s show unlike any other (on Sat 2/15). 80s connections could mean a remake of an 80s hit, a current hit that samples an 80s background, an 80s mashup with a more recent hit, a radical NEW mix of an actual 80s hit (like West End Girls, Mony Mony and Smooth Operator in the final hour!), you get the idea! 5th Annual All 80s All Nighter (Part 1 of 3)! A Saturday Night Mixtacy special!

Every Saturday Night Mixtacy features exclusive remixes of the biggest Top 40 of the moment along with flashbacks, but we also often have a theme involving certain songs. On this show, we had the 2nd LIVING artist tribute (we did a Santana living tribute on the Sept 21, 2024 show). Most artist tributes have been sadly after they passed away, but this show celebrated perhaps the biggest pop legend of all time, who is still going strong- none other than Elton John! Find a half dozen of Elton's hits spanning his entire career, including his first hit from 1970 and one of his most recent ones throughout the show.
