On 21 May 2025, the Willem de Kooning Academy (https://www.wdka.nl/news-events/fashion) hosted a seminar on the digital transformation of fashion education.
Through student projects, alumni perspectives, and roundtable discussions, the seminar explored how digital fashion is reshaping the future of fashion design education.

Students participated in hands-on workshops introducing them to digital fashion design and image-making. The professional program included three roundtable sessions that addressed key topics related to the digitalization of fashion design education.

Following the event, Yophi Ignacia  interviewed leading experts in the field of digital fashion about their practices.

This edit is special – 22 August 2016 marked the beginning of my history with Neosampling. I listened to the above fragment over and over again in its original version. However, it was part of a whole song and I had to rewind it every now and then. By accident, I found a way to creatively loop it in FL Studio. When I discovered this, the magic began! I felt as if an undiscovered world had opened up before my eyes! I listened to it for three hours straight, which speaks for itself.

Then I moved on to other tracks, and the whole concept developed so much that I am happy to share the rest of the Neosampling Edits with you.

Andy Finn is a passionate House Music DJ with the inspiration from some of the greatest house masters in the world!

Starting out in the mid-nineties, Andy was captivated by the talent of DJ’s and artists such as Erick Morillo, Roger Sanchez, Frankie Knuckles, Joey Negro, Marshall Jefferson and Danny Rampling to name a few with their early style of vocal house. It didn’t take long till he acquired his first set of decks to continue to spread the funky house music vibe through his mix tapes and cd mixes in this era.

A couple of years down the track and Andy got his break on the Edinburgh (Scotland) clubbing scene. Becoming a resident for local club night “Flaunt” meant he could play the music he loves…Funky Vocal House warming up for big names on the lineup such as Bob Sinclar, Jeff Jefferson, Freemasons, Jason Herd, ATFC, Seamus Haji, Graeme Park & Moto Blanco…Flaunt was one of the largest events in the countries capital that projected nothing but glamour.

Andy then flew into his own residency shortly after with another event called “Glitter & Twisted”. Playing with local radio talent every month including the massive London duo Soul Avengerz, it then led to a night with the master of things dance floor and credible…House Music Legend Joey Negro.

Now a permanent fixture in Australia, Andy continues to play the house music vibe in his much anticipated sets and aims to keep the feel good vibe very much going…. Since landing in Aus he picked up a residency for HedKandi Australia, delivered the Gold Coast’s Island of Sin Boat Party, held several residencies including Hotel Komune, The Star Casino, Roosevelt Lounge, The Island Rooftop + more. Andy owns & operates Guilty Pleasure Agency & continues to deliver only quality house music events including his side project Our House!

Andy has supported some of house music’s grade A superstars in the last few years including - Glitterbox Australia (Simon Dunmore, Melvo Baptist, Natasha Diggs), Defected Australia (Ferreck Dawn, Low Steppa, Sam Divine, Roberto Surace), David Penn, Mark Knight, Basement Jaxx, The Shapeshifters, Mousse T, Josh Butler, Weiss, Melé + Mr Doris all within the Australian house scene.
