Title: LOVE!

Scripture: Luke 7:36-50; Galatians 5:14

Sermon Points:
-	Those who know the Bible best love the most and stay in love. Those who know the Bible the least get in and out of love because they do not know what love is.
-	I John 4:8
-	There is nothing free about love. God gave His Son to be butchered for you and I.
-	John 3:16
-	Proverbs 3:12
-	Hebrews 12:6
-	People who are mad at God are bitter people, and do not understand what true love is. Love is very powerful and was not understood by religious people. Since they did not understand that love was there to save them from their sins and what did they do? They crucified it!
-	Acts 13:22
-	I Samuel 13:14
-	God created us because he wanted to be loved. Trees, animal, creation, sun, moon and stars cannot love God. But man can if he receives true love, Jesus Christ.
-	Luke 7:42-47
-	Then Jesus said she took the most expensive thing. She had the most precious thing she had and poured on my feet and the beautiful smell in this room is not because of religion, but because of this sinful woman.
-	Love has a smell, it’s called sacrifice.
-	What can we learn about love from all this?
01.	Love is directly connected to forgiveness.
-	Ephesians 4:32
-	Luke 7:47
02.	If we don’t realize how much we’ve been forgiven then it’s hard to love God the way we should.
-	I John 1:9
-	While Jesus was going through the agony and pain of the garden and the cross, not one person was left to say, “I’m here for you, Lord” but He was always there for us!
-	Jesus was saying to Simon, “Simon you are seeing real faith in action, she believes who I am and you don’t.” You don’t because your sins are not that big a deal to you, but to her my forgiveness is everything.
-	Religious people will tell you how much they love Jesus. Saved people, like this woman, will show you how much they love Jesus.
-	James 1:22
03.	Love is only as real as it is shown. Not by what we say, but what we do.
-	John 14:15
04.	Love is ultimately the highest expression of faith.
-	I Corinthians 13:13
