Barbara Tucker is an American house and soul singer, songwriter and choreographer born in Brooklyn, New York, US. Having had six No. 1 hits on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart in the 1990s and into the 2000s, Barbara is nothing short of legend status.

Renowned for iconic tracks 'Beautiful People' and 'I Get Lifted', Barbara Tucker was made her breakthrough in 1994. Flash forward to 2022, Barbara travelled to Paris to collaborate with close friend Sam Karlson. Together, they recorded two absolute anthems 'Miracles' and 'Be Yourself'. I experienced my first contact with Electronic music through a Happy-Hardcore-CD of my brother, which I came across by accident. I was fascinated by the speed and intensity of that genre. Through Sven Väth's "L'Esperanza" I got introducted to Trance and via Richie Hawtin's Remix of System 7's "Alpha Wave" to Techno. 1996 I had my early Club-/Rave experiences, which induced me to buy my first records. I started playing at private parties, till I eventually had my premiere rave gig in 1997. Together with my brother I'm also deejaying b2b (Da Brothers gonna work it out / Daniele d'Agnelli vs. Dyrtsta).

I always try not to submit myself to any stylistic boundaries. The audience always decides where the journey goes to.
