Barry takes a flight and lands in Argentina with a four-track house EP debut on WAREBLUES. The presentation starts with "Blue", a solid track that knocks down the dance floor. Continues with "Breakdown", where Barry shows his '90s House influences. On the B side we found "Crystal" with a solid bass, a stompy kick and deep pads. Then close with "My Dream", a track where acid melodies run with a slower rhythm.

PREMIERE: Barry Sound - 1997 [White Deer Records]

Ricardo Barrancos aka Barry Sound is a talented, young DJ and producer from the south of Mexico. He came on the BTC radar due to his 2023 EP "blue dream" which has a solid deep groove and is still on repeat. He began DJing at the end of 2018 by playing deep house, minimal and funk sets in local clubs. Barry's soft and fresh but at the same time uplifting and danceable sound makes him a public favorite for gigs in his southern mexican homebase. His love for electronic music and vinyl led him soon to start producing. Tracks by Barry Sound are often influenced by jazz, deep house and classic house music like his latest release „Fire“. We can’t wait for more projects with a lot of love, dedication and learning, giving his contribution to the world of house music. 

For his BTC RADIO set it's no exception: trippy talking vocals are a recurring element of the mix, starting with very jazz inspired instrumental aspects such as piano, trumpets, flutes and summerish saxo sounds mixed with tropical drums, deep basslines, some afro cuts and classic house rhythms. An uplifting rise of sound leds the mix to a hype summit with heavy tech house beats and stumping, chido grooves. To cool-down the grand final transforms again into a "lay in the sand for sundown, after dancing all day at the beach" ending. An absolute highlight in anticipation of summer.
