In a forgotten corner of the Basque coast, where the waves crash with the cadence of a wounded heart, lives Maialen, a young luthier who builds violins from shipwreck wood. Her workshop, perched on the cliffs of Gaztelugatxe, is filled with strings that vibrate on their own when the wind blows from the north.
Every night, Maialen plays a melody she doesn't remember learning. A sad, ancient song that seems to emerge from her fingers as if someone else were guiding her. She calls it "The Ballad of the One Who Wasn't," and each note draws a sigh from the sea.
The Foggy Visitor
One morning, a young man with gray eyes and a soaked coat appears in the mist. He calls himself Elías. He doesn't remember where he comes from, but he knows the melody. He hums it in a voice that seems made of wind and salt. Maialen doesn't ask any more questions. She lets him stay.
For weeks, Elías helps her tune the violins, varnish the wood, and collect branches from broken boats. They speak little, but understand each other in silence. When Maialen sings, he listens with his eyes closed, as if remembering something he never experienced.
The Secret of the Broken Lute
One day, Maialen finds an ancient lute among the remains of a stranded ship. As she plays it, a vision shocks her: a shipwreck, a young musician singing to calm the passengers, a wave dragging him into the abyss… and his face: Elías.
He confirms it with a sad smile. “I died a hundred years ago, Maialen. But your song brought me back. I don't know why you… but when you play it, I exist.”
The Last Chord
They know their time is short. Every dawn, Elías fades a little more. Maialen composes one last piece, a symphony for violin and wind instruments, which she records on a wax cylinder. She calls it “Song for a Ghost.”
The night she plays it for the last time, Elías dances with her under the moon. As the last chord arrives, she dissolves in a burst of light, leaving behind a white feather and the echo of her voice: “Thank you for remembering me.”
Epilogue
Today, in Maialen's workshop, there is a violin that no one can tune, but it only plays when there is a storm. And at every concert she gives, there is always an empty seat in the front row… just in case the wind decides to return.

The Excel of the soul
At the top of the Executive Glass Tower, where suits are ironed with ambition and coffees are served with anxiety, reigned Don Ernesto Valdivia, CEO of the multinational SynerGroove Inc. His resume was a symphony of achievements: an MBA from Harvard, successful mergers, and absolute mastery of PowerPoint. But beneath the armor of KPIs and synergies, beat a heart that didn't want to lead... but to sing.
Every night, Ernesto locked himself in his soundproof office, not to review reports, but to rehearse with his Stratocaster guitar. His soul vibrated not with dividends, but with progressive rock solos. His dream: to be Ernie V, the rock star he never was.
The meeting that broke the rhythm
Everything changed the day, in the middle of the quarterly meeting, Ernesto presented the financial results... singing! With animated slides and a band of interns dressed as musicians, he sang “Return on Investment Blues” and “Synergy is Killing Me.” The managers were speechless. Some thought it was a disruptive strategy. Others called HR.
But something sparked. Employees, fed up with metrics and forced motivation, began to follow him. Every Friday, instead of reports, there were clandestine concerts in the break room. The movement was called Corporate Rebellion.
The Rise and Fall of Executive Rock
Ernesto recorded an album, “Balance General del Corazón,” with songs like “Despedido con Amor” and “Mi jefe es un algorítmico.” It went viral. SynerGroove's stock rose because of the fame, not the management. But investors didn't understand why the CEO was naked on the cover of Forbes.
The board ousted him. They replaced him with a predictive leadership software called LEADR-9000. Ernesto, far from going down the drain, founded a band with former employees: The Fired Ones. They played at startup festivals, where entrepreneurs wept to the tune of "Pitch Deck of My Soul."
The legacy of the boss who broke the norm
Today, Ernesto lives in an electric van, traveling through incubators and coworking spaces, singing uncomfortable truths with distortion. His story has become legendary: the boss who relinquished power to embrace noise. In every drab office, there's an intern who dreams of being a guitarist. And at every meeting, someone hums "ROI Is Not Love."

Story
Expedition of the Resonants
In the year 3047, humanity had conquered the stars, but not their silence. On the farthest reaches of the Eumora galactic system, planets were discovered inhabited by advanced civilizations… completely lacking in rhythm. They knew no music, did not vibrate with melodies, did not dance with their souls. They were worlds of pure logic, where sound was only a tool, never art.
Faced with this revelation, the Interplanetary Union summoned the Resonant Ones: a crew of astronaut-musicians, virtuosos of sound, trained to bring harmony where emotional emptiness reigned. Their ship, the Harmonaut, was a floating symphony… each room an instrument, each corridor a scale, each engine a compass.

Silence of Vireon
The first destination was Vireon, a planet of perfect geometry and a crystalline atmosphere. Its inhabitants, the Vireans, communicated with pulses of light, but had never felt a vibration. Upon landing, the Resonants deployed the Quantum Orchestrator, a device that converted human emotions into musical waves.
The first note was an A minor, soft as nostalgia. Then came the rhythm: tribal percussion, cosmic synthesizers, plasma guitars. The Vireans began to flicker with new colors, their structures resonated, their algorithms became disordered… and they smiled for the first time.

Tharn's Challenge
Tharn was different. A world of electrical storms and variable gravity. The inhabitants, the Tharnites, were beings of pure energy, unable to understand music as physical vibration. Here, the Resonants had to improvise: they created a symphony of lightning, a dance of frequencies that intertwined with the storms.
The ship became a floating stage. Klodii, the vocalist, sang in tones that only magnetic fields could understand. Flat, the gravitational percussionist, played mass-altering drums. The entire planet became a quantum dance floor.

Choir of the Worlds
As the expedition progressed, the Resonators collected rhythms from each world, merging them into a Galactic Opera. On the final planet, Elaria, where time flowed in spirals, they presented their masterpiece: a symphony that captured the pulse of Vireon, the storm of Tharn, and the hope of all the worlds they had visited.
Music became a universal language. The planets began to communicate with each other in melodies, creating a network of interplanetary harmony. The Harmonaut ship was declared a sonic heritage of the cosmos.

Story
Heartbeats in the Cloud... A love story in the age of Wi-Fi.
In the floating city of Neonetia, where buildings were giant routers and squares were called "Coverage Zones," lived Lía, a designer of emotional holograms. Her job was to create emojis that not only expressed feelings, but also transmitted them directly to the recipient's heart. Each emoji had a frequency, a vibration, a melody.
Lía didn't believe in traditional love. She said that bonds were built with sincere likes, with memes shared at just the right time, with replies that arrived before the other person finished typing. Her heart was synchronized with the network, and her soul was hosted in a private cloud.
One day, while testing a new "luminous nostalgia" emoji, she received an unexpected like. It wasn't just any like: it had an old-fashioned, almost analog code signature. It came from a profile with no filters, no stories, no followers. The name: Kael_404.
Intrigued, Lía tracked the signal. Kael lived in the Dead Zone, a neighborhood without stable Wi-Fi, where people still looked into each other's eyes to say "I love you." He was a restorer of digital memories: he recovered deleted messages, pixelated photos, and songs that had been silenced by algorithms.
They met on a video call that took 17 seconds to load. It was the silence between frames that made them fall in love. Each lag was a poetic pause. Each reconnection, a promise.
But love in the age of Wi-Fi isn't easy.
When the signal dropped, Lía felt like Kael was disappearing. When Kael didn't respond with emojis, she doubted his feelings. And Kael, who didn't understand the language of likes, suffered when he saw Lía sharing hearts with other profiles.
One day, during a solar storm that shut down the global network for 24 hours, Lía walked to the Dead Zone. No GPS, no notifications, no filters. There, Kael was waiting for her with a box of restored memories: her first message, her first emoji, her first "you make me vibrate."
They hugged without Wi-Fi. And for the first time, love didn't depend on a signal.
Since then, Lía designed a new series of emojis: "Offline Emojis." They weren't sent over the internet. They were drawn by hand, delivered in person, and only worked if the other person was nearby.
Because at Neonetia, they learned that the strongest love isn't the one that goes viral, but the one that survives when everything goes offline.

Tartalo.
In ancient times, when the valleys of the Basque Country still whispered secrets to the shepherds and the mists danced among the oaks, lived Tartalo, the one-eyed giant. He was no ordinary being: his body was as large as a farmhouse, his voice resounded like thunder, and his single eye burned with the light of a cursed moon.
Tartalo lived in a deep cave on the slopes of Mount Anboto, where Mari, the goddess of the earth, was said to also dwell. Some believed Tartalo was its guardian, others that he was its punishment. The truth is that no one ever came out of his cave alive... except one.
One day, a young shepherd named Eneko, curious and brave, took refuge in the cave during a storm. There he found an abandoned banquet: cheese, bread, wine... and human bones. Before escaping, Tartalo returned. With a roar that split stones, he caught Eneko and locked him in an iron cage, promising to devour him at dawn.
But Eneko, cunning as the north wind, waited until Tartalo was asleep. With a burning stake, he drove his one eye into the giant's head, blinding him. The furious giant blocked the exit with his body, but Eneko devised a trick: he hid among the sheep, covered in wool, and escaped when Tartalo let them out.
Since then, Tartalo has wandered blind through the mountains, guided only by the echo of his fury. Some say he can still be heard screaming on stormy nights, searching for the shepherd who stole his sight. Others believe Tartalo is eternal, a symbol of the savage power of the Basque land, of ancestral fear, and of human ingenuity.

🎵 The Singing Mirror
High in the mountains of Arzulea, where the wind speaks in forgotten tongues and the trees whisper secrets of ages past, there existed a relic that no wise man dared name without shuddering: the Singing Mirror.
It was no ordinary mirror. Its surface reflected not faces, but melodies. Whoever approached it did not see their image, but heard a unique song, composed instantly by the mirror's soul. Each note revealed a hidden truth: a buried memory, a lie told, a wish never confessed.

🌑 The Legend of Laira
Laira, a young troubadour from the underground city of Eltur, had heard of the mirror in her grandmother's songs, who said it was forged by the gods of sound and silence. It was said that the mirror sang only once per person, and that its song could heal or destroy.
Driven by a night vision in which her voice broke before a black moon, Laira set out on her journey. She climbed impossible cliffs, crossed rivers that sang in water dialects, and finally reached the mirror's sanctuary: a crystal cavern suspended in the air by tree roots that never touched the ground.

🎶 The Mirror's Song
As she drew closer, the mirror began to vibrate. It emitted not light, but chords. The melody that emerged was a sweet lament, as if the mirror were crying for her. In each measure, Laira heard fragments of her life: her mentor's betrayal, the love she never confessed to her friend Kael, and the fear that had made her flee her destiny as Keeper of the Echoes.
But then, the music changed. It became ascending, luminous, as if the mirror were showing her not only what had been, but what could be. In a final chord, the mirror sang its true name: “Laira of the Seven Timbres, Voice of Rebirth.”

🌠 The Awakening
As the song ended, the mirror shattered into a thousand fragments that floated like stars. Each one embedded itself in the air, forming a constellation that only the singers could see. Laira descended from the mountain with a new voice: one that could reveal truths through song, as the mirror did.

Influencers of the Apocalypse... Style in the Breaking News
In the year 2091, the world no longer turns as it used to. Cities are ruins lit by broken neon lights, oceans boil with technological waste, and the skies are covered by a dome of drones livestreaming humanity's final hours. But amid the chaos, there are those who have not lost their glamour. They are the Influencers of the Apocalypse.
The Feed Doesn't Die
The story begins with Lía Chrome, a transhumanist former model who broadcasts from her glass bunker in what was once Dubai. Her skin is reflective polymer, her voice modulated by seduction algorithms, and her motto is: "If the world is going to end, let it make me look fabulous." Every day, Lía posts makeup tutorials using radioactive pigments and teaches how to pair gas masks with 3D-printed heels.
Meanwhile, in the ruins of New York, ToxicoBoy, a former skater turned post-nuclear style guru, parades along abandoned highways wearing jackets made from warning signs and welding goggles. His channel “Lethal Style” has millions of followers who comment from underground shelters, waiting for the next drop from his clothing line... Fallout Couture.
Likes in the Age of Collapse
The dominant social network is DystopiaGram, a platform that rewards viral content with solar energy. Influencers compete for followers who donate minutes of electricity, recycled water, or dopamine pills. The algorithm rewards drama: the closer to disaster, the more likes.
SombraLuz, a visual artist from the ruins of Barcelona, ​​creates installations with robot bones and holograms of lost memories. Her style blends the gothic with the bioluminescent, and her series “Elegy for a World That Is No Longer” becomes a trend just as the last satellite falls on Greenland.
The End as a Stage
When the Arctic volcanoes awaken and the seas become boiling mirrors, influencers organize the final event: Apocalook 2091, a catwalk broadcast from the top of Mount Extinct. Each one parades in outfits that tell their story: fabrics made from ghost fishing nets, jewelry made from rusted circuit boards, and hairstyles shaped by the toxic wind.
The show ends with a collective message: "Beauty doesn't save the world, but it makes it unforgettable."
And as the last ray of sunlight filters through the ash clouds, the influencers of the apocalypse continue broadcasting, selling style, and demonstrating that even in collapse, art and vanity have their place.
