The Mermaid of Lekeitio
On the coast of Lekeitio, where the sun bids farewell in golden reflections and the wind whispers ancient secrets, lived a mermaid whose song could only be heard at dusk. Her voice, sweet and melancholic, floated on the waves like an ancient spell.

A young fisherman, with restless eyes and a dreamy heart, heard that melody one autumn afternoon. Hypnotized, he left his nets and ventured into the sea, searching for the source of that voice that seemed to call him by name. The mermaid emerged from the waters, and in an instant, their destinies became intertwined.

“I’ve left no more nets,” he promised, “I’ll live with you on this path.”

She believed his words, woven with tenderness and longing. But hunger, the yearning for dry land, and the weight of his promise broke him. The young man cast his nets again, betraying the sacred pact.

The mermaid, wounded in her immortal soul, wept silently. Her tears mingled with the currents, and the sea, sharing her sorrow, rose in fury. An unexpected storm swept the young man's boat away amidst wild waves. No one ever saw him again. Only the mermaid's song remained, drifting through the mists.

Since then, every year, the inhabitants of Lekeitio leave a flower upon the water. It is a humble gesture, an offering of forgiveness and remembrance. They say that if the wind blows from the north and the sea is calm, one can feel her presence, like a sigh among the waves.

Because the sea is not just water and wind. It is an archive of broken promises, of impossible loves, of stories that cannot be contained in books. And in its depths, the mermaid still sings, remembering the young man who dared to love beyond his own nature.

Story
Eguzkilore
Long ago, when the world was still young and farmhouses barely rose among the valleys of the Basque Country, humans lived in fear of the night. Not because of the darkness itself, but because of what slithered among its shadows: wandering spirits, lamiak with empty eyes, and gaueko, the lord of the night, who whispered doubts in the ears of the sleeping.
Amalur, Mother Earth, watched sadly as her children trembled each time the sun set. To protect them, she wove the moon with threads of silver and hung it in the sky. Its light was gentle, but it wasn't enough. The spirits continued to cross the thresholds, mocking the vigils of the shepherds and the prayers of the grandmothers.
Then Amalur descended to the heart of the mountain and, with starlight and petals of the sun, created a unique flower: the Eguzkilore. Its center burned like the sun, and its petals resembled golden shields. The flower didn't just shine: it sang. It emitted an ancient murmur that malevolent beings couldn't bear, a melody that spoke of home, of love, of the earth's strength.

Mother Earth gave the flower to humans with a warning:

"Hang it on your doors, not as an ornament, but as a promise. As long as the Eguzkilore watches, no spirit will cross your threshold."

Since then, every farmhouse in the mountains and valleys of the Basque Country displays an Eguzkilore at its entrance. It doesn't matter if it's real or carved in wood, embroidered on fabric, or painted on stone: its power lies in memory. Because as long as its origin is remembered, the flower will continue to sing, and the night will never be truly dark.

Story
An Eternity to See You
For centuries, Lara has felt in her dreams the presence of a man she has never seen, but whose name, Gael, echoes in her soul. In each lifetime, she has been born with fragments of memories that are not her own: a ruined castle, a promise under the moon, a melody no one else knows. Gael was her love in an ancient age, a minstrel condemned for loving a nobleman's daughter. His execution sealed a curse: both would be cast into the wheel of life, reincarnating without ever meeting again… until time ran its course.
Lara, a composer and art director in Bilbao, begins to write a piece without knowing why: a ballad that seems dictated by the wind. The melody leads her to investigate local legends, where she discovers a medieval story about an impossible love between Gael, a wandering musician, and Laria, the daughter of a feudal lord. The story ends abruptly, without revealing what happened to her.

Meanwhile, Gael, now a restorer of antique instruments, arrives in Bilbao for an exhibition. As he plays a 13th-century lute, a melody springs forth on its own: the same one Lara has been composing.
Their paths cross in a church converted into a concert hall. Upon seeing each other, they both feel an inexplicable tremor. Lara sings the ballad at the dress rehearsal, and Gael, in the audience, weeps without knowing why. That night, they both dream of the same scene: a tower, a promise, a performance interrupted by a scream.
Together they piece together the story: they were lovers in the 13th century, separated by betrayal. The curse was cast by a jealous monk, condemning them to parallel lives. But music, their eternal bond, has broken the cycle.
On the night of the concert, Lara sings "An Eternity to See You" with orchestra and choir. Every note awakens memories in the audience, as if Lara and Gael's love resonates in every heart. Finally, as the last note fades, Lara and Gael hold hands. Time stands still. In that instant, all their lives converge. The spell is broken.
There are no fireworks, only a look that holds centuries. The audience applauds, unaware that they have witnessed more than just music: the culmination of a story that has waited a thousand years to be completed.

A thousand ages ago, when the gods still walked among men, there was a priestess named Ilargi, born under the longest eclipse ever recorded. Her name meant "moon" in the language of the winds, and her power was to hear the thoughts of the stars.
Ilargi served at the temple of Zilarra, where the stars were invoked to guide the people. But the kings of the surface, fearful of her influence, betrayed her. They accused her of conjuring shadows and cast her into the abyss of the forgotten.
The Oath Beneath the Earth
In the darkness, Ilargi did not die. She was transformed. Fueled by the hatred of the unjustly damned, her body turned to obsidian, and her soul merged with the black moon that orbits beyond time.
She swore that her revenge would not be swift, but eternal.
“I will not destroy their bodies. I will make their names vanish like dust in the wind.”
The Return: Blood in the Sky
Every century, when the moon turns red, it is said that Ilargi awakens. The cities that betrayed her temple suffer strange losses: libraries burn without fire, genealogies are erased, songs are forgotten.
There are no screams. Only silence.
For her vengeance is not against the flesh, but against memory.
The Last Prophecy
It is said that when someone speaks her name in pure song, without fear or hatred, Ilargi will calm down.
But until then, each eclipse is a reminder: The moon does not forget. It only waits.

The Scales of Ekiar: Chronicle of Universal Justice
At the heart of the Multiverse, where the threads of time intertwine like melodies in an eternal symphony, exists a hidden plane called Ekiar, ruled by the goddess Aurelia, guardian of Universal Justice.
Aurelia judges neither by written laws nor by human codes. Her scales measure vibrations: the harmony between actions, intentions, and consequences. Every being, from the titans of stellar gas to the poets of Erandium, emits a unique frequency. When that frequency is unbalanced, Aurelia feels it as a dissonance in the cosmic symphony.
One day, the worlds began to darken. On Earth, judges sold sentences; on Zharion, sages concealed truths; on Basqara, singers lied in their verses. Aurelia's scales trembled. Not from chaos, but from indifference.
Then, Aurelia summoned the Keepers of Balance: Klodii, the interpreter of human emotions; Flat, the changeling who learned compassion; and Nara, a child of Earth who dreamed of justice even though she had never seen it. Together, they descended to the worlds to restore harmony not with punishments, but with revelations.
On each planet, they showed the inhabitants the reflection of their actions in Ekiar's mirror. Not as condemnation, but as understanding. The corrupt wept at the pain they caused. The innocent found strength at seeing their amplified light. And the indifferent... awoke.

MISSION... Light in the Storm
In a forgotten corner of the world, where mountains crumble onto mud-brick villages and rivers carry away children's dreams, a mission was born. It had no name at first, only one impulse: to heal.
The protagonist, Amaia, was a young Basque doctor who had left behind her comfortable life in Bilbao to follow the echo of a promise: “Where there is pain, there is also the possibility of light.” With a team of volunteers from diverse cultures—an engineer from Recife, a nurse from Alexandria, a cook from Oaxaca, and a poet from Kathmandu—they formed a caravan that crossed borders without maps, guided by necessity.

Their destination: Tariq, a region devastated by earthquakes and conflict, where words had lost their power and embraces were more valuable than gold. There, the mission healed not only physical wounds, but also invisible ones: fear, loneliness, loss.

They built shelters with recycled fabrics, mobile clinics with solar panels, and libraries with books donated by children from all over the world. But the most powerful thing they carried was a small wooden box that Amaia guarded like a treasure. Inside were letters written by anonymous people, full of hope, drawings, songs, and poems. Every night, they read them aloud under the stars, and the tears became seeds.

One day, a boy named Nour asked:

"Why did you come?"

Amaia replied:

"Because your life matters. Because your smile can change the world."

The mission grew. Not as an organization, but like a fire that multiplies by touching other hearts. When Amaia returned to Bilbao, she didn't come back alone. She brought with her stories, songs, and a new purpose: to create a network of poetic missions, where humanitarian aid would be not only logistical, but also emotional, cultural, and spiritual.
