release from Leicester’s Tenshu. Tenshu has been carving out his own unique path in the underground, and his latest EP
is a true testament to the raw, uncompromising spirit that made the early days of the
genre so iconic.
Tenshu's sound is a masterful blend of classic dubstep influences and a cutting-edge
sonic palette that will resurrect the true essence of those golden days. From the
ominous opening notes to the earth-shattering drops, this release is guaranteed to
leave an indelible mark on the scene.
Tracks like "Creation" and "System" exemplify Tenshu's ability to craft towering,

This mix dives through every corner of deep 140 with my usual little bit of hip-hop flavor. It’s the first time I’ve tried this method of mixing, building everything fully inside Ableton instead of recording live.  It was a sick learning experience and I'm very pleased that I was able to push myself to make something that felt like a story from start to finish.

A couple of my own tunes are in here alongside tracks from other artists that I’m inspired by.

Winchester (formerly known as Wedge) returns with Liquid Crystal State, a striking 4-track EP that fuses the heavyweight pressure of his Bristol dubstep roots with the intricate sound design of his experimental solo work.

Inspired by the microscopic grids and labyrinthine circuits of LCD screens, the EP explores technological decay and perceptual distortion. Each track channels these hidden architectures—fragments of data, voltage, and interference—into raw, rhythmic forms. The results are physical, break driven, and industrial, yet laced with nuance and sculptural precision.

With a legacy of genre-defying collaborations (Dot Product with Raiden, Wrecked Lightship with Appleblim), Winchester continues to blur the lines between club energy and avant-garde abstraction. On Liquid Crystal State, jungle, footwork, dark dubstep, and UK bass influences collide in a sound that’s built for both movement and disorientation - inviting the listener to lose themselves inside the maze.

I've loved everything I've heard, and it's awesome to see another release from him with our friends over at The Widdfam! E-Tik hails from the suburbs of Chicago. Always listening to a wide variety of music, he fell in love with the sounds of the UK bass scene in college, and fell into DJing shortly afterward. E-Tik started playing dubstep and grime but quickly branched out into UK garage, broken techno, and jungle. He got his start going back to back with FoleyDub on Sub.FM, which led to him taking up his own monthly residency on the station beginning in 2020. He has opened for the likes of Mungos HiFi, J:Kenzo, and others, focused on low frequency, meditative sounds across BPM and genre.
