The East Riding of Yorkshire, where, after leaving the sunny landscapes of California, Bradford born artist David Hockney returned to live and paint. Hockney's art challenges how we perceive the world, some of his photographic collages are almost cubist, as this podcast is, fragmentary, lacking a straight chronology. Your mind does not think in simple, ordered steps. Your eyes and your mind are constantly moving. Hockney wants to reflect that. I can only try and use a similar method to describe him and what he does.

Sarah Spring est née en 1993. Elle commence par étudier le piano puis le violon, pour finalement ajouter l'alto et la harpe quelques années plus tard afin d'approfondir ses connaissances en écriture instrumentale.
Curieuse et très créative, elle compose instinctivement depuis toujours. En plus de ses années d'études en analyse musicale et solfège, elle décidera de s'orienter également vers la musique électroacoustique dite "MAO (musique assistée par ordinateur)" pour élargir ses capacités créatives.

Titulaires de plusieurs Diplômes d'Etudes Musicales, elle est amenée à écrire des pièces pédagogiques pour des écoles et conservatoires (Coulange-les-Nevers, Bourges, Créteil, Mulhouse...).

En 2017, elle remporte le 2e prix au concours "Musiques en courts" de Sceaux avec le court-métrage imposé "Vive la vie de garçon" de Max Linder, court-métrage pour lequel elle doit composer une nouvelle bande musicale.

Membre de la SACEM, elle continue à travailler comme compositrice sur divers projets.
