Put together another installment of the Loungin' series for you guys and gals earlier this week, features some dope new tunes and a classic or two, starts off with a couple tracks from Con-Figure's excellent new EP 'The Jazz Cafe' as well as a tune off the homie Kipsy's new EP and several off of Sevin's new release as well, all three are excellent pieces, go ahead and cop those if you haven't already. His next DnB release is upcoming on Liquicity in November 2024, "Liminal Spaces" with Pyxis & Hiraeth, is highly anticipated. He is also in the studio with producer BCEE (Spearhead Records) & female powerhouse artists Solah & Abi Flynn to record the follow up single Fall which will be released early 2025.

Next up for summer 2025 Kit is releasing 2 amazing Garage (UKG) eps with an array of amazing producers & writers from Europe to USA. Including a duet with Abi Flynn entitled ‘As Long As Youre Here’ produced by superstar producer Mark Hadfield (NEYO, SIA).

Kit is also in the process of crafting a new pop record entitled, "Human," which delves into his journey as a young queer man in the UK, exploring themes of adversity, resilience, and love. Produced by Adam Rust (MNEK, Becky Hill), this album promises to be a deeply personal and impactful release in 2026.

As for his songwriting & publishing journey,
He recently joined the Artist Tribe camp in Berlin & penned many songs with the greats in dance music. Kit also attended the biggest writing camp in the world in NYC, the Anti Social Camp featuring Jacob Collier, continuing his journey of collaboration and innovation.

I have written music & signed deals with major music publishers Fairwood & Sesac, Pitch Play, Galactic, Sentric, Tileyard Music.

Kit has a thriving Sync career with his music on several shows on ITV including Abbey Clancey’s Celebrity Homes, Dress To Impress & on Channel 4, A Place In The Sun with the amazing sync company Bspoke. He has just signed 2 tracks to the Cavendish roster.

Kit’s songwriting prowess is further highlighted by his success with his creative song writing Kamps, of which he has run 9 with his label KAR Records, which brings together hundreds of writers and producers to write for a variety of publishing opportunities. His role as a council member for the Ivors Academy LGBTQIA+ underscores his influence in the industry.

As a skilled violinist, Kit has toured with Leddra Chapman & Toploader supporting Ed Sheeran, Tom Jones, Beverly Knight & played many a festival across the UK & Europe.

Since the early 90s, DJ Upzet has been a devoted fan of electronic music. From the very beginning, he was drawn to Acid Techno, Rave, and Trance. In 1997, at just sixteen, he discovered his all-consuming love for Drum & Bass and and within a year, he was behind the decks. In 2001, he had begun organizing Dnb events in and around Mannheim, which, at the time, was Germany’s DnB capital city.
In 2009, Upzet made the move to Berlin, where he continued DJing and commenced promoting club event series like "Out of Mind", "Step higher", "Infected", "Lucid Dreaming", and other special party nights. Fast forward to 2015, he has been running the VOID Berlin, which he recently managed to enlarge. Thus, today, he is the owner and operator of VOID Club and VOID Hall. 
During the pandemic lockdownn, he reconnected with music production. His first track was released on Scientific Records with more to follow soon.
Today, Upzet’s signature styles are Liquid, Deep, Dark, Tech, Neuro, and Jumpup, though he’s no stranger to mixing Oldskool Jungle, Happy Breaks, or even Dark and Melodic Techno - bringing an infectious energy to every set. Above all, he crafts his mixes with one core principle: harmony.

Mix mainly DnB but also dabble in grime, house, breaks and funk.
