hola en primer lugar agradecer por ayudar a gente como yo que somos un poco cortos en estos temas.llevo todo el fin de semana intentado hacer que funcione el beini me he leido muchos manuales y he visto videos explicativos de como funciona pero nada, cuando le doy para auditar una wifi en wep, parece que inicia el proceso pero se pega horas y nunca termina, me pone waiting for a client, y el valor de powe me pone 0 cuando esa wifi me llega a tope, con todas lasbarras de potencia, nose que hago mal, he probado en wep y wpa y nada, y no hay manera. mi wifi es una wisacom usb rma con chipset zynda o algo asi es que tampoco entiendo mucho. agradeceria mucho vuestra ayuda porque la verdad no se que hacer. gracias de antemano y un saludo
Download Beini latest version.The version 1.1.2 have some problem with driver. But ONLY with some wireless model and can be repaired. You can put Beini in USB or CD. I recommended to use CD(just few cents) rather use usb( unless you have pretty much) but for me I only have some USB and the Beini size only 42MB.
I have done some more testing, and as you say DVD-s work fine. My previous cdr-s were burnt with wodim 1.1.2 (debian etch) and wodim 1.1.8. This time I tried adding -dao option to wodim, and guess what, now the cds boot fine and give me no errors during mount. However, since I also experienced error with some factory made cds (not all) and also with a cd burnt with ISO recorder Powertoy in windows, then I still suspect that the cd-rom driver being the culprit. I'm not sure though, but I'm happy with the workaround for the time being.
