The El Salvador Solidarity Campaign in association with the GLC staged a benefit show at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London on December 4, 1985. The lineup included Andy de la Tour, Julie Christie, Emma Thompson, The Flying Pickets, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Peggy Seeger, Ewan McColl and The Joeys (with music performed by Nigel Ordish).

The inspiration for Viva was a speech by the campaigning band Yolocamba I-Ta from El Salvador. This track features extracts from their speech within a composition entirely played and recorded by Nigel.

All proceeds from sales of this track will go to Amnesty International.

I make noise since the early 90s, in the golden age of Atari and Amiga,
sound designing 8bit sounds ripped from videogames, cutting my sharp sampled beats with the machines.

I have been shaking up the underground rave scene all over Europe since I was a teenager, rejecting the society as a lifestyle, strong and convinced of my anarchist role, travelling with my live set up with the first european tribes that gave birth to the FreeTekno movement, following the footsteps of the Sound Conspiracy from Spain to Austria, France, Holland, ending up in London, where I actively lived the rave scene for two years, pushing my livesets and playing vinyls.

For two decades I have been delaying my adult responsibilities, producing music under various aliases: Zon3, Sushi, Squaresushi and Crudo,
pushing electronic music of all kinds, from raw tribe tekno to mind-bending experimental sounds, until my body had to stop me.

I'm back now after ages, evolved into a seasoned producer, DJ, and label head. I aim to pass along this culture to the new generations of warriors, underground artists and pay homage to the pioneers who inspired my life.

I am DDos Attack and I beat hard for my people on the speakers.
I m producing tribe for Tikal, Repartee, Costra and Hacked Records.

Nigel Ordish graduated from the Royal College of Art, working professionally as a designer, academic and composer. He has produced music for television and radio and performed (with the Joeys) at theatres, concert halls and major festivals across the UK. 

Nigel's work now centres on producing musical scenarios and soundscapes through a combination of real and virtual instruments.
