Soul Storm, I dedicate this mixtape to my dear wife. She can't stand my sound at all. Yet she loves me so much when I go wild behind my decks like a young god (ha ha ha...). The sound is packed with love for breaks and mixed with some powerful soul samples that meet heavy bass. Be careful, the funk is just the surface!

Rock on, rock on, spring is coming, and I hope the listener feels it too. I've mixed the latest break tracks for you out there, in the 130 bpm range. Soul Storm - Mixtape No. 4 2025 by DJ Nexs One

What I understand by the alchemy of breaks (I'd like to emphasize that this is my interpretation and not a definitive one) is the interplay of musical influences from house, techno, electro, or hip-hop culture. True to the motto: No breaks, no flow! But what do I know?! ;-)

As you can see from the tracklist, I've freshly mixed together what I consider to be the craziest new break tracks in the 135 bpm range from January to the end of March. "Hyperspeed" by the Drumattic Twins may be over two decades old, but it still thrums timelessly through my ear canal. Also included is a new and absolute masterpiece (Drawat - Coin Toss) by my brother Drawat from 1156 House.
