Equations of Time is the scientific counterpart to Equations of the Heart from Cold Touch, merging math, physics, and philosophy into a song that forces the listener to question the very nature of time itself. Unlike traditional songs that treat time as an emotional force, this track deconstructs it mathematically, proving that time is a function, a formula, an equation to be solved.

The opening verse immediately breaks down the misconception of time as just the ticking of a clock. Instead, time is velocity, acceleration, and distance divided. It is measured, calculated, and manipulated—yet it remains untouchable. The song begins with cold precision, defining time using scientific laws, but as it progresses, the reality of time’s power and inevitability becomes more sinister.
