It had a been a few weeks as I had to skip my previous show due to a nasty cold and sinus infection I picked up over Easter - however, I pulled out the big guns and made a 2 hour Big Bud vinyl special! I've always loved his Infinity+Infinity album which was a big influence on me to also really appreciate the atmospheric side of DnB. And most of his tracks have either a relatively techy sound to them, or jazzy. But generally with different two-step style breaks, and no amens like many other contemporary artists. I even ended up not having enough time to play two other releases I had from him! But I hope you'll really enjoy - quite a bit of work went into this show as the keys are all over the place and I've done my best not to make it sound too dissonant. I focused on the early years so 1995-2000 with all the Good Looking stuff, before he started the SoundTrax label. I can't believe this music is 25+ years old. It feels so timeless!

D-Bridge had posted that Love's Ugly Child celebrated its 20th birthday this year - the release which was the start of a new musical career for him after Bad Company. This prompted me to want to play that tune again, and it made me get out all my other Soul:r releases, as well as all the classic smooth Marcus Intalex tunes I have. It's not quite a liquid set, but probably as close as I'd get! Definitely a lot of great tunes in here again, and I really enjoyed the flow I ended up with - hope you'll enjoy it too!

Since I was 16 I started DJing at parties, progressed to many nightclubs (Studebakers AKL, SamBucas, Fat Ladies Arms, Seattle Bar & Grill etc) and a lot of mobile DJ work.  Always loving a good groove, many years on the wheels of steel. I have a degree in audio engineering, so I produce, remix and write tracks as well.
