This is an 80's vibe tune with lyrics from an old Danish poem by Adam Gottlob Oehlenschläger, "Guldhornene".

I'm singing in Danish which is not my native language (Swedish).  My son & daughter on backing vocals.

It's made with Reason Studios v12, mainly using Bitleys Fairlight and other sound libraries.

The cover art is made by Midjourney using the prompt "A Danish iron age village with a man blowing a golden horn".
Maybe the golden horn got lost in the same quicksand the poor man got stuck in.

Synthwave 101 / Way Beyond Fairlight demo

This time I've used the lyrics from a well known Swedish funeral song by Carl Michael Bellman (1740-1795): Fredmans Epistel N:o 81 - Bellman, a k a "Märk hur din skugga".

There's little trace from the original melody, which is dark & depressing. Oh well, it's a funeral song.

I wanted to keep just a tiny bit of that mood, but have contrasting parts in major.
(I remember many years ago listening to a very happy Japanese song. Happy until I checked that the lyrics was about - not happy at all)
