Who is Orbital Emitter?
Orbital Emitter is a small sound design collective based in New York producing imaginative and unique science fiction sound effects for use in any creative production. 
Science Fiction is an integral part of modern pop culture and it can be seen and heard everywhere.
Orbital Emitter takes inspiration from decades of science fiction movies, television, video games and multimedia and we combine that with our own broad goals to make every sound-set we release as exciting and creatively  useful as they can be.
Our sound-effects are 100% original, designed for cinematic impact and believability. There are no weak sounds in our releases but we do understand the importance of simplicity. We might create intricate audio-scenes but we always give you the elements making up the scene - right down to the room-tone so that you can customize our sounds any way you wish! 

So what does Orbital Emitter offer?
Orbital Emitter creates and sells small bundles of sound effect files called Sound-Sets. These sound-sets are cohesive sound files built around a subject or theme. Some of our titles include, "Command Center I and II", "Star Fighters "Alpha" and Cobalt," "The Hangar Bay" -with many more in production!
Each sound-set is made up of two folders; audio-scenes and audio-stems. Think of our audio-scenes as field recordings from the future... It's as if we went to the future and recorded other worldly scenes and locales and then brought those sounds back to the "now."   
Perfect examples of this can be heard in any of our demos above! 

The audio-scenes might work well in some creative situations in that they are long-playing and balanced in their scope.
But if a more nuanced approach is desired, our audio-stems are for you!
Our sound-sets always come with a folder full of curated audio-stems! These audio-stems are the isolated sound elements used in making our audio-scenes.
We feel that this combination of audio-scenes and stems is the least restrictive format allowing our customers the creative freedom they need for their sci-fi productions.
Our overall goal is to provide in-depth and authentic sounding sci-fi sound effects that are at home in any creative work such as films, video games, television, or multimedia productions. 
We plan on expanding our futuristic sound library as new sound-sets are completed.
