When a SINNER "REPENTS" (having a change of heart and mind about SIN), and BELIEVES the "Gospel" (Good News) of Jesus Christ, they are, at that moment of belief, "Born Again", saved from the consequences of their lifetime of SINS. 

The Word of God says that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST not only forgives us of EVERY SIN we will ever commit against Him, but His mercy is such that He removes ALL of them "As far as the East is from the West", which is infinite. And permanent.

At the moment of salvation, The Holy Spirit of God, "seals" every Born Again Believer, with the promise of God, and we are redeemed by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, Who is the propitiation for our sins, bearing them ALL on Himself, never again counting them against us. 

A Born Again Believer in Jesus Christ will never die. And we WILL be taken "HOME" to Heaven when Jesus Himself "appears" in the clouds, at the "Rapture".  What a DAY that will be!

But Satan, who is called "The Accuser" and other people, who are themselves SINNERS in their own right, will try to accuse those Born Again of their forgiven sins, bringing them up, even though those sins of the "old man", that Jesus Christ forgave... and promises to remove from us as far as the East is from the West... Psalm 103:10-13 KJV — He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

Matthew 26:27-28 KJV — And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

John 1:35-37 KJV — Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

Titus 3:5-7 KJV — Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Ephesians 1:12-14 KJV — That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

John 8:58 KJV — Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I Am.

Revelation 12:10-11 KJV — And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
