XYZ and When We Dip present the Selectors series, where we give our family of producers an opportunity to display their prowess behind the decks. Expect unreleased material from across the label collective, as well as classic gems and heady grooves from some of the underground's finest selectors.

Redfreya delivers this week's episode. The DJ & producer is a resident at Beat Club LDN & runs her weekly show on Bloop Radio. She also just hosted label mainstays Presia & Motip White at her Redfreya & friends event in London and will be featured on our ADE Showcase on October 18th at Bar Feijoa. 

In this hour mix, she plays tunes from the label such as 'Straight To The Sun' by Motip White & Schlepp Geist's 'Chord Society' as well as topping things off with one of her own unreleased tracks.

Balko is a London-based DJ and producer, who traces his roots to Germany, where he spent his formative years immersed in music. His early exposure to diverse genres shaped his unique style, which he later fine-tuned in London's vibrant and eclectic music scene. Balko sets are energizing and exciting, seamlessly blending afro, melodic, and deep house leaving audiences mesmerized.

He has performed at London's most renowned clubs and played international shows including Cape Town, Berlin, Geneva, and Monaco. Balko launched his own radio show in collaboration with London-based radio station Bloop and has expanded into music production.

As Balko continues to carve his path in the electronic music landscape, his dedication to crafting soulful and uplifting musical experiences remains unwavering. Through his electrifying performances, Balko seeks to spread joy, unite people, and celebrate the universal language of music, leaving lasting impact on dance floors.

Keleo, born Leonard Slabbinck, is a rising star in Europe’s electronic music scene, known for his high-energy, emotive sets and signature concept A Trip 2 Euphoria. The artist gained early attention with euphoric renditions of Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain” and “Belong Together”, leading to the creation of a dedicated fanbase spanning 4 continents. In 2024, Keleo made his London debut at Ministry of Sound, leading to more shows throughout that & the following year. 2025 has started off strong, gaining radio support in over 4 countries, signing with Berklee-graduate founded Vocal Aura, receiving ongoing mentorship from Danny Whittle, under the IMS mentorship programme, and recently getting his first official remix opportunity for ALLERTZ. Currently signed with one of South Africa’s most accomplished Artist Managers, Keleo’s future as an internationally-aclaimed act is looking bright.

DJ de música electrónica con más de 20 años de carrera, destacado por su estilo «progresivamente explosivo». Inició su carrera en 1989, siendo pionero del techno en Galicia y cofundador del influyente club «Óxido». Este fue su trampolín para expandir su música por España, Portugal y otros países de Europa, América Latina y Rusia.

Currently residing in the North East, UK, Rory has been DJing for over 25 years. His early influences were the U.S. west coast House scene, in particular the early Naked Music vibe, Dubtribe Sound System, Miguel Migs, Rasoul, Andy Caldwell, JT Donaldson & Lance Desardi. 

More of Rory’s influences include the likes of Calum Walker, Brendan Costigane, Jimpster, Charles Webster, Vincenzo, DJ Ino, Seph, Steven Garcia, Schmoov, Dj Jauche and Crazy P....you can see it’s an eclectic bag. 

This distinctive sound and its influence is obvious when you hear Rory work a crowd in that individual and unique way that he has made his own by giving you that characteristic Cochrane deep house therapy. Rory has performed at some of the North East’s most prestigious and loved venues over the years, joints such as Stereo Bar, Tokyo Bar, To The Manor Born, The Loveboat, The Purple Onion, Cosmic Ballroom, Distrikt Bar & The Faversham down in Leeds to name a few..... 

His passion for Deep House music makes his sound very current. Rory is now running quality labels such as Deep Site Digital & Deep Site Vinylized along with Croatian DJ/producer and good friend Tom Krizic (DJ Funtom). Rory is also working on some interesting production projects of his own, which have meant remixes and a sweet original track with vocalist Sanna Hartfield 'Focus' on Addex’ label Limitation Music. Other remixes also on labels Oh! Stockholm, Deep Stitched..South Africa, The Purr Music, Sound Vessel Records, Be Adult Music, Personal Belongings, UM Records as well as Deep Site

Over the last few years Rory has played in Croatia, South Africa, Ibiza, Prague and Sao Paulo, Brazil where Rory performed at world famous club 'D-Edge' club  for FREAK CHIC...

More recent performances include Tulum Mexico, opening Lost Tribes @ Vagalume and warming the floor for Los Cabra @ Aguva Rooftop as well as Puro Beach Barcelona, Vlkova26 & Bukanyra Music Boat Prague, Florianopolis Brazil and W hotel in London where Rory also holds his monthly label residency show at the home of Bloop London Radio....
